ad 🍂 Mum tip: save this for when you’re standing in front of your baby’s wardrobe wondering what on earth they should wear this autumn… 😂

As the seasons change, I’ve found the easiest way to dress a baby is layers, layers and more layers so you can add or remove warmth as the temperature changes.

Here’s my go-to autumn formula:

1️⃣ Start with the pretty dress 🎀
Just because it’s Autumn doesn’t mean the cute outfits have to go away! I pair dresses with footed leggings to keep little legs and toes warm.

2️⃣ Add a knitted hat 🧶
This is one of my autumn essentials for getting out and about. A cosy hat helps keep baby warm when those temperatures start to drop.

3️⃣ Add a cardigan 🤎
The perfect extra layer: easy to pop on when it’s chilly and just as easy to take off if the day warms up.

4️⃣ Finish with a wool blanket ☁️
For pram walks, chilly mornings and those inevitable baby naps on the go. There’s something about wrapping them up in a cosy blanket that makes autumn feel extra special.

The new school run edit 🍂

And just like that… there’s a definite chill in the morning air.

The girls are all set for the school runs with their new @lindexofficialkids coats, and safe to say their flared leggings have also been a big hit. They’re soft, stretchy and brushed on the inside, with an adjustable waist and the cutest little flare, the girls are now all about wearing these to school.

Perfect for these cooler mornings and all the rainy days ahead.☔️

Our little beach boy 🌊

Ad| From summer adventures by the sea to getting all set for nursery… somehow we’re already at that time of year again.

I love having pieces in Ezra’s wardrobe that work for everyday adventures, whatever the weather. This @lindexofficialkids fleece has been perfect for those windy beach days and will be a staple as we head into nursery and the cooler days ahead.

Who else has / had a baby that loves to be swaddled?
Juniper is the only one out of our 3 children to enjoy being swaddled and I really think it has a positive impact on her sleep. I feel like she wakes up less as her startle reflex can’t disturb her. It makes me wonder if we had tried harder with the boys, would they have been better sleepers too? She’s definitely been the best out of them all…. So far…. *touch wood*.

The muslin she’s wrapped in in these photos is from @lindexuk 💜 I ordered it when I was pregnant on the gamble she’d be a girl because I just fell in love with it too much. The wisteria design gives me such country cottage / Bridgerton vibes. It is my favourite and now a design I strongly associate with our little Juniper so I’m so glad that they have dresses and rompers in this design too.

Did you know that @lindexuk do baby accessories as well as clothes? The teddy bear, Teddy comforter and bonnet in these photos are also from Lindex.

The handmade embroidery hoop is from @tillyandnoah - I picked it up from a local market on our Babymoon to Feurteventura earlier this year!
