Some days, motherhood feels like it’s going by so slowly.

The early mornings. The endless mess. The questions that never seem to stop. The days when I'm counting down until bedtime, wondering how I'm going to make it through.

And then, in the quiet moments, I look at you and realise…

These are the days I’ll miss one day.

The little voice calling “Mummy.”
The tiny hand reaching for mine.
The cuddles that somehow make everything else disappear.
The sleepy kisses.
The laughter echoing through the house.
The ordinary, everyday moments that I know I’ll wish I could live just one more time.

I wish I could pause time sometimes.

Because you’re growing, even when I’m not ready for you to.

One day, you won’t need me quite so much. One day, those little hands will be bigger, your voice will be different, and you’ll be off creating a life of your own.

So for now, I’m trying to slow down.

To soak it all in.
To remember the little things.
To be present, even on the hard days.

Because motherhood can be exhausting, messy and overwhelming… but it is also the greatest privilege of my life!

And if I could choose these days all over again, I’d choose them every single time 🤍

Sometimes I think we all need a little perspective on how far we've come....

Five years ago, I was still struggling through 7 years of infertility and treatments, praying for a miracle baby! Now, five years later, I have two beautiful girls and get to stay at home raising them on our beautiful homestead 💕

This is your reminder to slow down and cherish your family. 🤍

The housework can wait.
The laundry will still be there tomorrow.
The little messes, the busy days, the endless to-do lists… they can wait, too.

Because one day, the little hands reaching for yours will be bigger. The evenings spent together will look different. The children will grow, and the years of building a life together will pass by faster than you ever imagined.

So take the photos. Steal an extra kiss from your husband or wife. Say yes to family cuddles on the sofa. Make time for date nights, silly moments around the dinner table, and those ordinary evenings when you're all together under one roof.

Put your phones down. Laugh a little longer. Hold each other a little closer.

You don't need a perfect home, a perfect marriage, or a perfect family to have a beautiful life.

So slow down. Love your spouse well. Cherish your children. And don't forget to enjoy the beautiful family you're building together. 🤍

A little reminder of God's promises from the Psalms 🤍

I wanted this set to feel peaceful and beautiful, with soft coastal scenery, and scripture that brings us back to what matters most.

I have chosen Psalms that remind us not to fear, but trust in God:

~God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble
~What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
~The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?

Three simple reminders of faith, hope and the comfort we can find in God's Word, woven into artwork that feels right at home in a peaceful space.
