This is a painting I created of the inspiring, powerful prima ballerina Misty Copeland @mistyonpointe. She rises to the top as a role model of how dreams come true, breaking through barriers that should never have been there in the first place. Being the first female African American to be promoted to Principal Dancer at the American Ballet Theater @abtofficial in history, she is a path paver, a culture changer, a symbol of strength and feminine power. She is the female heroine that our society needs. She dances not only for her pure love for it, but also for the greater meaning beyond her own life to empower other's lives. Her relentless hard work, passion, discipline, and motivation is infectious, flaming the fires inside all our hearts to work harder. I was moved to tears with her story, of overcoming poverty, assumptions about race, and injury. I can't thank her enough for how much she has inspired me in my artistic journey, as well as inspiring countless others. She is a living example of how the arts make a difference and how greatly it impacts the world. This is a painting of this incredible empowering woman and all that she symbolizes for making this world a better place.

Prints available! "Moonlit Siren" painted by: ➡️ @lindsayrapp 👈
This is a commissioned painting a loving husband asked me to create for his beautiful wife, of her as a mermaid.
"Moonlight Siren, Beauty of the sea, came up in the veil of the night to see all there was to see. Discovering the stars, the moon, the soft light, she dreamed with celestial eyes her very first wish at starlight."

Carrying the most precious creation of my life🥰

These photos were taken just before we welcomed little Landon Drake Liang into the world exactly 1 month ago 🤍 9-7-2025 🤍 Happy 1 month Birthday 🎂

I know I’ve been quiet over here on insta for a while… and for the best reason. 💙 I stepped away from social media to really soak in this season of life, carrying our baby boy, spending time with family, and just being present in the moment. Life with a newborn is keeping me wrapped up in the sweetest way, but I’m looking forward to sharing more as I can. ✨

It’s been such a beautiful pause, one that’s inspired me in ways I can’t wait to bring back into my art and this space. Thank you for all the love, patience, and sweet messages checking in. I’ve missed being here, and I’m so excited to share this new chapter in life, in art, and in motherhood with you. ✨

DROP A BLUE HEART IF YOU LOVE THE OCEAN! 💙
Hi, mermaids! May this post serve as your reminder to be kind to our oceans, as they serve as homes to our endangered gentle giant friends like the whale sharks and other sea creatures that make up marine life.

Newest Painting “Mermaid Lagoon”. In this commission of a moonlit tropical hideaway, this piece is about two soul sisters, kindred spirits, and the best of friends. I will share more about the symbolism of this piece on my next post.

I haven’t posted on my feed in a while, and I just want to thank you deeply for your support in my artwork especially during this time! It means more than I can ever express. Christmas season is my favorite time of the year, I love the magic and beauty of the traditions, the lights and creativity of decorations. I love how it inspires us to give & think of others and find some way to express our love and appreciation to family and friends. I am so excited for the new year full of goals, possibilities, and inspirations, and I can’t wait to share it with YOU. taken in Saint Petersburg, Florida by @lindsayrapp

This is a painting of my husband’s younger sister, @catherine_y_liang 💖
I wanted to portray her in a strong, uplifting setting - she is an accomplished pointe ballerina, an exceptional swimmer, as I have shown her underwater, and she also taught ballroom dancing for years, so I set her in a fantasy underwater ballroom for this piece. That is just the tip of the iceberg when we talk about her drive. She is also incredibly hard working, plays the piano like an angel, a pageant queen (recently crowned as Miss San Francisco 👑), and is one of the most humble, down to earth, sweet, & compassionate person I have ever met. I could keep going on and on about how amazing she is, but the bottom line is that in this painting, I tried to capture how I view her as an inspiring and uplifting young lady. I hope that this helps inspire you to be your best self and uplift your spirits for the New Year too! 🤗

Tag someone who inspired you so much this year. ✨
