What a difference a @lick of paint makes (and a lot of hard work and new floors and new walls and lots of dust and tears and going to the loo in the garage).

AdGift| When the guest room is too good, so you have to move in 💤

These @blinds2go black out curtains and white wooden blinds have changed my life. I struggle sleeping when it’s light outside, but these have helped me block out light and get a couple more hours in!

I managed to customise them both completely, so they fit the windows perfectly.

Would you fancy a night in here? 😴 by @lindsey_isla

Another week renovating our ‘69 bungalow: first fix electrics, first fix plumbing, new fuse board, stud walls and some light demolition.

Gifted - I probably say this every time, but this might be my favourite @ffern.co perfume yet. It’s so luxurious and sophisticated - I can’t wait to wear this all autumn 🍂 by @lindsey_isla

Extension renovation updates for our little bungalow: decking, garden views and secondhand furniture. by @lindsey_isla

Recovery from chronic migraine looks so different every single day. I spent Monday walking around Rye feeling completely normal and then on Thursday we visited some National Trust houses and we had to take it very slow, and I couldn’t go as far as I wanted to. This doesn’t mean I’m not getting better. Healing isn’t a straight line. Healing isn’t something you can perfect (for my fellow perfectionists out there). I’m so grateful to be in a headspace where going on a day trip feels possible! So take this as a reminder to go easy on yourself and talk kindly to yourself.
It’s still on my list to share the reel about my recovery journey, but deffo check out the Curable app if you’re struggling in the meantime - it changed my life. Sending love ❤️❤️❤️ by @lindsey_isla

Bungalow renovation updates - extension is complete and decking is done. Now for cladding, plumbing, electrics, plastering, kitchen installation, painting and flooring.
Doing an extension was harder than we expected, but it’s exciting to see it all come together. by @lindsey_isla
