We really did so bad, but also how did she end up with so many stuffies?!? Is 51 a lot or is that normal? I cannot keep up as stuffie grandma, there are too many of them!
I never liked stuffies or dolls as a child so I’m dumbfounded by it all. Really; but the kids seriously play with them SO MUCH & their imagination is top notch when all the stuffies are involved so that’s a win for sure. Do you think you could name all of your kids’ stuffies? This test was hilarious, she called us into that room & it was set up with chairs & the test. “Take a seat.” she smirked. Pop quizzes are not my strong suit, & I even helped name some do these! She keeps us laughing, that’s for sure. Holding onto every magical minute of childhood with her because time feels like it’s slipping real quick right now, like I swear I just had her!
Are you going to have your own test? 10/10 recommend ❤️

To what end?
Embracing joy & happiness, ENCOURAGING it actually, especially as a human design generator. I’ve been mostly authentic but honestly too scared to just BE, ya know? I am a joyful human who thrives with creativity in my life. It feels like a need because it is, & I’m tired of my own shame & guilt around spending my life doing arts & crafts…why do I make myself feel guilty about the very thing that makes me feel most alive?!?

So to what end? My own happiness, & that’s the only reason I ever needed❤️

Mr. Jordy Babe Sir, we are all very impressed but also very ready for your beard to be back😂

We had such a fun Halloween this year, I’m not over it! What do you think of Jordan, does he look like Mr. Sir?! There were tears when the beard disappeared but not from me, total costume commitment is one of my love languages! Where my Holes fans at?!
•
EDIT-we are shocked at how much you all love this! This is my husband who has no social media & the shock on his face when we woke up to this being viral today was so good😂 He doesn’t even like Halloween but every year he does whatever costumes the kids & I choose & it’s the best! Thanks for watching, sharing & leaving kind words❤️

$Excuse me? 2026 Halloween is one for the books! I’m so glad the kids still want to have matching family costumes, & when they chose Holes I was so stoked because we love that book & movie. • I added watered down paint to their jumpsuits to look like dirt & dust, I made our belt buckles from tinfoil, the shovels are dollar store mop handles with cereal box cardboard as the shovel tip. Jordan shaved the beard & wow wow wow there were tears & angry sad screams😬The commitment to costume is him showing me true love, he’s the best❤️ • Um legitimately disappointed that most people didn’t recognize us…if you haven’t read this book, I highly recommend it! The movie is just 🙌🏼 HAPPY HALLOWEEN! • \\ holes family costume, the warden, Mr sir, Stanley yelnats, diy costume, family Halloween costume idea// by @lindsmadethis$

I’m a sucker for a boop on a mushroom or bit of moss! Can you believe my eyes we’re lucky enough to see all of these?! I wish I liked mushrooms, I try to eat them a couple times a year & no the texture isn’t even the worst part, they just taste gross okay?! I feel like a disappointment when someone finds out I don’t like mushrooms & they go “WHAT?!?” Sorry on behalf of my tastebuds! (Actually don’t like any seafood or sushi either 🫠)
Anywayssss…which one is your favorite for reals? I am always on the lookout for mushrooms growing around me because I genuinely find them adorable & bonus, I’ve trained the kids to be just as enthusiastic🙌🏼 haha when they burst in the door to tell me about a mushroom they saw & way to show me, it’s just chef’s kiss!
Happy Friday! What are you plans?! I’m going to a couples party & need to be a witch of some sort & I was thinking maybe like a botanical witch? I’ll see if I can quickly make some air dry clay mushrooms to put on my clothes & I’ll mossify a hat?! Tell me your fun plans & don’t forget to look yourself in the mirror & say you love her too because it matters😚 (k what’s your fave 🍄?)

It’s a rainy day but I’ve got my hands full of my most favorite herb, Holy Basil! Today I’m saving seeds & cleaning leaves to dry for tea, tomorrow I’ll make a big pitcher full of muddled leaves for an extra potent cold infusion, that I’ll freeze into ice cubes so I can have some with me through the winter.
Cold infusions are my favorite! It tastes a little like wild huckleberries, if you’re familiar. Just absolutely delicious & incredibly medicinal, I drink it almost every from July-October & I eat multiple leaves straight off the plant every day. Local friends, I’ve got seeds if you want them! It’s an annual here so I’ll plant again in late spring🙌🏼
Where my medicinal herb girlies at?!? Plus I’m eating homemade spicy pickles with garden cucumbers, sooooooo life is good!

I could go through two dozen a day of these, ya know?! I’m so glad I have this last rose blooming before our first freeze-these roses have blown me away with how pretty they are! Next year we will start trellising them up the wall🙌🏼 I’m out harvesting seeds & collecting herbs to dry for tea & seasonings, but I couldn’t resist making this reel, real quick.
Happy Saturday, friends!

My heart broke for my friend when her dogs both passed away so close to each other & I have not even completed a needle felting project yet but knew I had to try making her dogs. I ended up taking the glass out of the frame because it looked squished, & it’s so fun because you can really see the textures & even touch them.
Rest easy, Sage & Penny🐾❤️

Doing the damn thing! Throw in perimenopause, adhd + kid life & ya’ll what in the what?!

Feels like a ray of sunshine to my soul to have these pieces fall into place. I know I’ve been processing & going through a lot, but the last year has been such a roller coaster figuring out what I’m actually doing with my life & I’m like oh, midlife crisis, that’s temporary, that’s a pivot, that’s a chance to level up & be who I want to be & I don’t have to hate every minute of it!

Hey @dirtyheads thanks for the midlife anthem✨ by @lindsmadethis

Big news for big changes✨ by @lindsmadethis

So are you coming over or what?!
•
It’s hard to believe this side yard was once rock hard soil & old dog poop, but she’s a beaut now! I call it the not so secret garden & it was my main focus this summer & was such a labor of love!
•
Changes made: sifted out multiple wheelbarrows worth of pea gravel…(that almost did me IN!) we laid down pavers, ran drip lines, planted creeping thyme & creeping Jenny from seed, moved perennials from my yard, strung up supports for the blackberries & raspberries, added clematis plants but they both ended up being full of grubs in their pots & died within a week, planted a vining rose to cover the wall, added pots to cover the sprinkler boxes & add visual interest, put tiny solar lights on the fence posts, added a cute bistro set that’s all weather + I weeded & doted on all the things almost every day!
•
It’s been SO fun watching this fill in & become a lush oasis! As time progresses I’ll replace creeping thyme with a variety of perennials, but for now it’s been the best ground cover. Next year we will add wood arbors on each end, with gates, (goodbye, deer!) & then it’s really going to feel special!
What do you think of it? It feels magical in the best way & I already miss the hummingbirds zipping through✨ by @lindsmadethis
