Folklore Festival with the beginning of Miel! 🐞

I never posted it here but this is the human side from the Folklore Festival I worked last month in GA! 🌸 Many of you know of @mieltheseeking and it was so fun to have my first performance weekend! 🍯✨ Two days of fairying, some new inspo and hobbies, and I made so many new friends, plus James was able to come along as Grunk/Glint 🪨

The people are the memories 🫶🏼

Took a weekend trip to SOFL for some good times. Me, Chloe, and Madison went to Dakota’s quince and we def didn’t cry not once 😭 I took a turn at bleaching/dying my hair and I did pretty good, which is both a fantastic and dangerous revelation. Chloe apparently sleeps like she’s still at the club and is crazy good at bowling?? And I got to have dinner at the original Pho Bar down south which was a moment for me.

Disappeared into the sunset 🍹

Added some more stamps in my passport from my first cruise this past week to Grand Turk, Amber Cove, Nassau, and Celebration Key 🚢 This was the first trip I didn’t heavily document (so no fit pic collage, sorry) as I was allowing myself to just enjoy the time and relax. Seven days of food, drinks, dancing, fun, shows, games, water, and sun 🌊

Highlights include getting unbelievably seasick the first night, waterfall jumping in DR, the best pork belly I’ve ever had, accidentally getting a hair tie tan on my wrist because I forgot to take it off, asking for rum shots but getting double shots of blanco tequila instead, and getting ganged up on by five people in Uno because I’m unbeatable.

Also shoutout our housekeeper Maradona for being so cool and catching me coming back to my room from the club every time I was trying to be sneaky 🤞🏼

The colors of daily life ✨

As I take in the life I’ve built and settled into, I’ve noticed just how vibrant things can be. I am surrounded by wonderful people who put life into everything they do, even when the world is in chaos 🍄

For me, the first half of the year always sets up how the second half will play out. And I have some fun plans ahead already 🌷🐝

365 days of laughter, love, and fun! 🌷

James, you stand tall behind me with unwavering support and it has helped me grow into who I am. In one year you’ve shown me just how loved I can be and I plan on spending a lifetime returning that feeling to you. I look forward to all of the meals we will share, all the conversations we will have, and all of the adventures we will go on.

I can’t tell you exactly what I wished for with those twelve grapes under the table as the clock brought in 2025. But I know where I am today is more than I could have ever imagined for myself a year ago 🧡

As predicted, the second half of 2025 was unbelievably sweet and warm to me 🧡

In 2023 I destroyed. In 2024 I mended. In 2025 I rebuilt.

I think this is the first time I will be going into a year with no plans on how I’m going to move or any idea for what I expect from that year. And maybe I’ll figure it out. Or maybe I won’t. Come with me on the journey if you’d like 🌱

Also special thank you to everyone who has given me their time, support, and grace this year. I broke myself down and held all the bits in my hands. Some of these pieces I had to reshape to fit, and some were put back in with the love I was shown by those around me.

There is life in death and beauty in both 🕯️

Visited my home renfaire in Orlando for the first time and it was a cute little experience! 🌱

Broke all of my usual renfaire routines but it was worth the trip 💫 and it was James’ first festival (I helped with my extensive selection of accessories)!

Huzzah to all of my sweet friends and new memories 🧡

New Orleans, I have once again returned 🌹

Spent a week in NOLA for Halloween, Samhain, and Dia de los Muertos 🥀 Cemetery ghost tours, Bourbon Street Halloween bar crawl, Endless Night Vampire Ball, Dia de los Muertos precession parades, haunted houses- the whole nine yards! 🪦 We, of course, had many stops for iconic foods too. And an attempt was made to keep up with fit checks. But I love this city in a very special way and it’s going to be hard to keep me out of New Orleans for every Halloween in the future 👻

Without you, I’d lose my head 🎃

Rain, wind, and sun! Did a fun little pumpkin head shoot with my sweetie 🧡 We either look really cute or like we are about to drop the hardest diss track of the season. It was cloudy and sprinkling when we started but the sunset really came through with the vibes!

Visited New Orleans again to see @hozier play in concert and it was an absolute amazing performance! I am now fans of both of the openers as well- @ambleofficial and @gigi4perez 🎶 I wasn’t expecting to cry but I did twice. We also got to take a ride on the Creole Queen and listen to a performance at Preservation Hall. Such beautiful music in a beautiful city that I got to share with my sweetie 🫶🏼

Took a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for a week 🇩🇴 I got to enjoy all my favorite things- plenty of time in the water, food and drinks, and good company 🥂 I will definitely miss my resort cat friends and my hot tub bath that I used every night.

It was a lot of fun to be able to learn more about this part of my heritage and I look forward to exploring more in the future. But, I’m happy to return home for the time being 🧡
