Messenger Cat Café by Nagi Shimeno is a sweet and emotional story about love, loss, and the special bond between people and their pets. The story follows Fuuta, a cat who works as a messenger at a café where the living can communicate with loved ones who have passed away.

I liked how the book explores different characters as they cope with grief, regret, and the things they wish they had said before it was too late. Fuuta’s own story makes the novel even more touching because he hopes to see his beloved human again. His journey adds an emotional depth to the story and shows how love can continue even after someone is gone.

Although some parts of the book felt a little slow, I still found the overall story comforting and meaningful. It is a gentle reminder to appreciate the people and pets we love while we still have the chance to tell them how much they mean to us. I would recommend Messenger Cat Café to readers who enjoy cats, fantasy, heartfelt stories, and emotional books.

It’s been a while since I’ve gone out alone just for myself—not for work or to run errands, but simply to slow down. Yesterday, I got to update my planner, read a book, and enjoy a peaceful brunch at Bistro Café. And the lasagna? Absolutely delicious and so satisfying. I’m really glad I made time for this.

Quick coffee stop at OLA by Siesta, located at Alabang West Parade.

This was my second visit, and this time, we tried their OLA Signature Latte (₱220), which we really enjoyed. On my first visit, I had their Biscoff Horchata (₱250), which is rich, creamy, and perfect if you’re in the mood for something on the sweeter side.

I’d love to come back and stay a little longer to enjoy the space. If you’re planning a visit, they’re open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

I enjoyed my solo date today!

I had brunch at Whimsy Cat Cafe and met Whim, a rescue cat who’s now the café’s resident cat. She has the sweetest way of asking for attention, and it completely melted my heart.

The visit was definitely worth it! The owners were so warm and accommodating, and I genuinely enjoyed the food and coffee. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try their matcha. I’m not usually a matcha girlie, but their menu definitely piqued my curiosity!

My first visit to Hoody Cafe was a great experience, and it quickly became one of my favorite cafés. I’m a big fan of charming, cozy coffee shops, and this place had exactly the kind of atmosphere I enjoy.

After a particularly overwhelming few weeks, I needed a change of scenery, and spending time there was incredibly refreshing. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I really enjoyed both the pasta and the coffee. Everything made for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. I’ll definitely be back!

The mystery unfolds gradually, revealing clues one by one, rather than relying on dramatic twists or nonstop suspense. This approach is likely to appeal to readers who enjoy slower, more thoughtful mysteries, while those expecting a fast-paced thriller may find the pacing too relaxed. I treated myself to a 90-minute relaxing massage at Payapa Wellness & Spa, and enjoyed good food at Harvest Tea Room, located at 75 President’s Avenue, BF Homes, Parañaque. It was a birthday well spent!

All of the staff were nice and accommodating, so I really felt welcomed during my first visit. I will definitely come back!

I’ve been wanting to try their Parañaque branch for a while, but it’s quite far from where I live, so I’m glad they finally opened a branch in Alabang. I dropped by yesterday to do some advanced reading for work since I recently accepted a new role.

The café had a bright and welcoming atmosphere, exactly the kind of space I look for in the morning, and the staff were accommodating. I also enjoyed everything I ordered.
