Here are we jittery bodies embraced lucious pink insides...

Of rib eye steak no mistake
it's not fort worth served
deterred by the description
Decadent diction
Only heard in fiction
Out of our jurisdiction

Riddled with fat

A green fedora hat
On the head of my lover
Out for another
Hot date I smother
Her with my love
we're
Hovered near the bar
Soaking in where we are
Recounting how far we have come

There's a man all alone
And a girl with free ginger
I wish we could stay here
Forever

For free appetizers old window dividers

Encased in our corner connected in fact not fiction

It's our jurisdiction
of lust and love
thinking about the pictures of kissing you in my head above anything else

Wealth means nothing here

the value's in the authentic people and pitchers of beer

Devon's near in our ears asking us if we're okay

Delayed is our speed of eating this delicious pink steak

Make no mistake

Riddled with fat

He wants to flip our table
we aren't able to untangle ourselves from the magic

Static stuck in this fantastic world we've created for ourselves
no one else can embrace this space the way we do
Inside our true
Connection
Immaculate conception
Of a feeling so foreign born in
Trust in my love for a previously impoverished jewbug
It's an infection that I never want to heal from
It started in my mind
Made it's way down my spine
Through my heart
And into my soul
And I know
That this love
Is not riddled with fat
It is pure
Sure
Permanent and certain

Wonder turns to blunder in my heart

I shout, when the thunder erupts.
it's tough to dodge it.

Run from it, find safety from it

Even under a tree a place I've sought deep emotional sanctuary

It's scary you know
to be searching for safety when reality is
life isn't that safe

It's mundane when the rain falls hearing the grumble from the rip roaring thunder

I strain to move toward safety
Erase the world's negativity

I've been kept in check by the wreckage
I've found my space to replace the blunder.

I go under the earth
seek cover from the thunder
and wash rinse repeat over and over. by @linesbspoke

Another huge inspirational Monday post @ Connected Roots is for any person affected, however big or small, by what is happening in the world right now. We know and feel how hard it can be to maintain hope in the midst of large scale uncertainty and turmoil. We can become ungrounded, disconnected, and lose our confidence in our ability to make a difference.
