‘Flying V’ @drawingskool #v
This was an experiment to see if I could cut every face of a small 1 1/2 x 3/4” eraser (see what’s left of it in 2nd photo) to build a print of this guitar. What a mess! It was fun, but so glad I didn’t cut/print it in the car!

‘A Crow’s Feather drawn with Crows’ Feathers’
As an experiment, I collected some crow’s feathers and made a selection of quills (see 3rd photo), with which I drew a crow’s feather :)

‘Elysian Nights’
I knew I’d done something with a feather! This is a repost of a collagraph I made 7 years ago; I will be doing another something for homework though :)

‘Hedgehog and Forget-me-not’
Two weeks of @drawingskool homework:
It has been so lovely to have a weekend of foul weather, so I could throw myself into this. There was a stage, which I didn’t photograph, when I had only coloured the hedgehogs and I could possibly have stopped - but I had in mind the style of an illuminated manuscript and I’ve never been one to stop if there’s still white paper showing 😁
Drawing pens and watercolour pencils.

‘Scribble Fish’
Drawing pens.
I had a lot of fun with this, although maybe I should have photographed the original scribble before I got carried away hunting for fish 🎣

‘Y’ by Yves Saint Laurent. My Mother first gave me this for my 21st and before it was discontinued, it had been my perfume of choice for decades, so was an easy choice for this week’s homework :) Graphite and watercolour pencil.

‘Two Weevils’
I chose ‘zyzzyva’ (a South American weevil) for this week’s @drawingskool #z because it’s the last word in the OED and has so many zs :)
It’s also the first time I’ve had a go at cutting a stamp out of an eraser and I’ve added a bit of gouache decoration.
