“Scout” my debut full length album is out today!!

My love and gratitude goes out to everyone who worked so hard to make this project happen.

From long writing and studio sessions with my amazing bandmates and some of my closest friends @renee_huey_ and @jones.goldman . Continued support and encouragement from @tone_mgmt . To getting to work with the brilliant and caring @calebfankhauser to make these songs come to life. This project has been a wonder to create.

Also, my sincerest appreciation goes out to everyone who has continued to support the music we are making and messages that come with it. Thank you!
I cannot wait to share our work with you 🤍

Last but not least, a huge shoutout to my extremely talented and supportive girlfriend who has done all of the single and promo art for the entire project @madi_toman 🖤 📸 I am so lucky to have you.

Cheers y’all, and happy listening! taken in Oregon Coast by @liney.blu

“Scout” my debut full length album will be out next Friday, October 24.

Scout was a nickname of mine growing up that I asked my family to call me due to “To Kill a Mockingbird.” My grandma first called out the similarities I had to the fictional character, Jean Louise ‘Scout’ Finch, in the book. Though I was too young to fully grasp the novel’s key themes, I deeply resonated with Scout’s desires to dress, act like, and play with the boys. It was the first piece of media that I found a character like myself in.

This album is about the trials and tribulations of my childhood and my journey with my queer identity, which has been a lot of not knowing what I am, but learning what I’m not. As I continue to figure out what feels right to me each and every day, these songs have been my way of making sense of it all.

All my love and gratitude goes out to everyone who worked so hard to make this project happen. To everyone who has given only love and support to me and my closest people, I love you. Thank you 🤍
