POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It was a privilege to join fellow delegates from the Texas/Oklahoma Chapter of the @esopassociation on Capitol Hill, where we advocated for employee ownership through ESOPs (Employee Stock Ownership Plans). @linfunkstagram and I believe this bi-partisan issue is good for the workplace and our country.

Thank you to the Congressional staffers who met with us. We know it’s an incredibly busy time, and we appreciate you taking the time. Thank you to:
- Haakon Santaella in @sentedcruz office
- Brooks Akin in @reprwilliams office
- Fernando Cruz-Rivera in @replloyddoggett office
- Andrew Leppert in @repbrandongill office

We look forward to continued conversations about employee ownership and its impact on the fabric of American jobs, retirement, and wealth creation.

Have you heard? Art is so much more than just being able to paint a beautiful picture. It’s a way to worship, connect with people, lament, rejoice, and heal. I think you’ll love this chat with Lindsay Funkhouser, as we share stories and laughs about how art is both beautiful and necessary.

So excited to get @karenswallowprior’s newest at the @asi_austinstone office. Can’t wait to re-read these classics with Karen’s thoughtful analysis.

Our Writer Development book club read Frankenstein last year and had fruitful and formative conversations! 🙌🏻

Went to the the Bull Creek greenbelt with a friend a couple weekends ago.

Central Texas parks and green belts are so magical. I’m so grateful to see so much green after the freeze killed just about everything. 🌱 taken in Lower Bull Creek Greenbelt Trail by @linfunkstagram

This is my “my arm hurts but it was worth it” face. 🙃

Thankful for everyone who put time and energy into developing and administering the vaccines.

One down. One to go. 💉

#maundythursday marks the midpoint of Holy Week, falling between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.

On this day, Jesus washes the disciples’ feet, serves the Last Supper, foretells betrayal, and tells us to love one another as He has loved us (John 13:34).

Join us on Thursday, April 1st as we prepare our hearts for the rest of Holy Week by reflecting on a few poems, taking communion together, and praying as Jesus taught us.

Event Details
Date: April 1
Time: 7–8:30pm
Location: Zoom

No previous experience with poetry necessary. All are welcome!

Spending a few days filming our @asi_austinstone Writer Development Program material. We’re talking poetry, revision, story, resonance, critique, and all things foundational to our philosophy of growing as believers who write to glorify God and help people flourish.

We love training writers and helping them find community, and we’re excited to bring this program to even more people.
WriterDev Foundations Online coming summer 2021!

Thanks to @theaustinstone film and creative teams and to our guest teachers for making it happen!

Snow motion.

When you live in Central Texas, you learn very quickly not to get your hopes up when they say it might snow. Aside from 1/16” of slush every couple of years, it never does.

Until today. Big fluffy flakes falling for hours. I’ve lived here 17 years (!!) and can’t remember snow like this. So indulge us and our tiny snowmen and plethora of random snow pictures and videos. Because it might be another 15 years until we get snow like this again. ❄️ ☃️🥰 by @linfunkstagram
