This is Sabrina, who's been itching to start Linguascaping Ottawa

Sabrina moved to Ottawa 3 years ago from the bustling metropolitan Toronto area, shaping and finding her sense of community in the vibrant and charming National Capital Region- she fell in love with the region and everything it has to offer.

Formerly a French and Italian Teacher in Ontario, French Teacher for the Ontario Parliament, a Foreign Language Training Advisor at Global Affairs Canada, and a Language Consultant at Google Canada among many diverse roles feeding her love of languages, Sabrina's passion for language learning and intercultural awareness and dialogue started at a very young age when she drew parallels between Urdu (her first language) and French (her first language learned at school) at age 5. She grew to become a hyperpolyglot and learn and love 9 languages, immerse herself in various cultures for authentic and autonomous learning, pursued a career as a language teacher for high level government and obtained two bachelor degrees in language teaching from the University of Toronto's Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, and later a Master's of Education in Language and Literacies Education. Sabrina is a huge aficionado of helping others find shared meaning through language and culture, a big promoter of lifelong learning, Plurilingual and Pluricultural experiences, experiential learning and building unity through diversity.

Now in Ottawa, Sabrina promotes intercultural learning through fostering a sense of community and creating spaces where people come together through who they are- learning from each other.

Sabrina also hosts workshops for language acquisition in authentic environments and pragmatic settings.
