Old papers make the best junk journals! Nothing like the crinkle or texture or smell of paper that was once intended for a different purpose. Now a cool DIY Travelers Notebook insert ready for anything. #travelersnotebooks #junkjournal #creativelife #makesomething #diy by @lingweny

I had the greatest pleasure leading a group of women in a PRINTMAKING workshop recently! Our inspiration was flowers and we started from sketching to final product - lots of greeting cards! I absolutely love seeing the variety in style which are as unique as each individual. Leading a workshop also makes my heart full, so thanks to everyone who helps me to do what I love ❤️ #artworkshop #getinflow #floraldesign #linocut #printmaking #linoprint #arizonaartist by @lingweny

Part 2 of the clear vinyl travelers notebook cover. I love the snap closure. I was inspired by another A5 clear vinyl notebook cover I bought in Taiwan but I didn’t want a binder style. So I made my own and it’s been a real learning curve. From the right thickness vinyl and the tools needed for the job. Ask me any questions! #travelersnotebook #asmr #clearvinylcover #journalcover #diytravelersnotebook by @lingweny

Testing out an idea is a process! Some things work, some things don’t. I think being an artist is 90% problem solving. Come back tomorrow to see what I’m going to try next. #travelersnotebookinserts #travelersnotebookcover #journalcover #clearvinyl #junkjournalsupplies by @lingweny

If you are like me, you hate waste. And with kids, there can be a lot of waste. This easy and fun to make pamphlet notebook is the perfect way to put to use leftover pages of a notebook. Because it might have been destined for the recycling anyway, I felt loose and intuitive when painting the covers and I absolutely love the result. It’s also the perfect size for experimenting with something new. So I think I’ll use this “junk journal” for trying out ideas in collaging. Collaging is also a highly intuitive process for me, so keep tuned if you want to see things I end up making. #Collaging #pamphletbinding #intuitiveart #junkjournaling #azartist by @lingweny

These scraps had been hanging around my studio for ages. And now I have a beautiful new bookmark for my scrapbook! I love it. Do you have scraps? Would you try this? #trashtotreasure #junkjournallife #azartist Do you keep useful scraps around? by @lingweny

To celebrate National Cheese Day, I’m showing you how to make a simple but adorable cheese label for your charcuterie boards! Dead easy and fun to make. And you can color coordinate to your event! If you are in Phoenix, come make these with me IRL at Shea Cheese where it is all things cheese today 6/4/26. #nationalcheeseday🧀 #arteveryday #charcuterieboardlabel #watercoloreverything #azartist by @lingweny

We play 16-tile mahjong. It’s Taiwanese house rules but similar to Hong Kong and Filipino style. We are casual, beginner friendly and free! Get away from your screens for a couple hours and do something in real life, like you said you wanted to do. It’s fun! by @lingweny

Perfect tarot for this reel. I just took it out of the deck like that. Is the universe trying to tell me something?? BUT I NEED ALL THE THINGS OUT! Can you relate? #artistlife #adhdlife #tarotcards🔮🕯️ #lifeismessy #howdoyoucreate by @lingweny

Experimentation is so fun. What do you mean I can turn junk mail into a highly textured purply paper that shows off inky drawing?? That’s so magical and it’s so easy! And satisfying. Loved it and another batch is already soaking 😄 I can feel the familiar tingles of a rabbit hole just waiting to be explored! If you’re here reading this, I guess you like it too 💗 #azartist #creativityeveryday #junkjournal #paperart #phxartist by @lingweny
