In April I could have claimed a sub-3, but where’s the fun in that when you can go back and actually earn it? 🫡🧐

Berlin, one week on 🇩🇪📸

We proved that Brighton in April was a bad day and that I’m not just here to scrape a sub-3 - I’m capable of much more than that. Now we’re in the off season it’s time to work on the shorter distances and the leg strength imbalance before we get dialled in and work towards that sub-2:45 for 2027! 🫡 taken in Berlin, Deutschland by @link.runs

Ich bin ein Berliner 🇩🇪 02:54:10

A 6 minute PB on the streets of Berlin - we matured a lot out on course today! We held back and pushed when we needed to, instead of chasing the splits on the watch! Definitely finished that race a changed runner.

It just wouldn’t have been possible without @pmruncoach telling me what to do & the @amanda.agsportstherapy team allowing me to train hard!

Great to be able to meet @anyaculling at the @runna event afterwards! 🇬🇧 taken in Berlin, Germany by @link.runs

Berlin bib secured 🇩🇪 sightseeing, lime biking and shakeout done! The cities looking fast, and the blue lines are painted on! Around 36 hours until we go on a controlled send around the capital! ⏳🏃🏻‍♂️⭐️ taken in Berlin, Germany by @link.runs

Berlin Marathon - T-8 days 🇩🇪🏃🏻‍♂️

Great to finish the first week of tapering with a 17:44 5k around Arrow Valley, a place which for the last 3 months I’ve made my second home.

It’s been a pleasure working with @pmruncoach for this marathon block 🤝🏻

Now for another week tapering, recovery, with some added carbs and the @abbottglobal shake out 5k on Friday!

Then there’s just a matter of 26.2 miles between me and Brandenburg Gates to collect that second star ⭐️

See you out on the course 🫡🇩🇪 taken in Arrow Valley Visitor Centre and Lake by @link.runs

Newark Half Marathon - 78mins 💥🟣

A great run out in Newark this morning, only a minute off the PB and 6 weeks out from Berlin Marathon! Legs feeling strong and getting locked in! 🔒🎯 taken in Sconce and Devon Park by @link.runs

Endure24 Leeds 🕶️☀️🔥

Entered as a team of 4, but turned up as a team of 3. Alternating the 5mile loops between us until Midnight hit and then we done 2 loops each which bought us up to 40miles each at 5am. When we turned up we had a goal of 50miles/80km each. So from 5am we tackled the last two loops we each had, and being able to retire from the course mid-morning!

It’s not until you switch the roads for the rough and rugged trail terrain, that you truly appreciate what some of these athletes go through!

The 24 hours of living off Lucozade, cheese toasties and elevating my legs on a chair has finally come to an end 🙌🏼

🥉 Lee Valley 10k 🥵☀️

Miles off the PB time, but the heat caused me to back off around the 3 mile mark and the hills were there for the added fun! First podium finish, which is something I’ve never had as a goal going into a race, but that a huge mental win! 💪🏼

Slowly chipping away until Berlin Marathon ⛏️🇩🇪 taken in Lee Valley VeloPark by @link.runs
