🌊🌊🌊 THE OCEAN 🌊🌊🌊

The Ocean

It roars like a lion,
Yet so calm and sincere,
Like a refined diamond.
Much beauty lurks here.

It's in the ocean you find true beauty,
Where worlds hide in the deep.
The ocean is where you find mystery,
Where things live, die, and sleep.

The ocean is where you go to ponder.
It relaxes the mind, body, and soul.
In the ocean I often wander.
It helps me focus on my goal.

- Isaac H.

🌲 🌲 🌲 FOREST 🌲 🌲 🌲

Forests are places where we can get back in touch with our inner selves, where we can walk on soft ground, breathe in natural scents, taste berries, listen to the leaves crackling - all the senses are awakened in the subdued light and stress melts away like snow in the snow. -Pierre Lieutaghi

🎈BEAUTY 🎈

Beauty is the only thing that time cannot harm. Philosophies fall away like sand, creeds follow one another, but what is beautiful is a joy for all seasons, a possession for all eternity.

There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature—the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.” — Rachel Carson

🍂🍁 🍂 Autumn 🍂🍁🍂

As long as autumn lasts, I shall not have hands, canvas and colors enough to paint the beautiful things I see.-Vincent Van Gogh

Methinks that the moment my legs begin to move, my thoughts begin to flow.-Henry David Thoreau

Henry David Thoreau was an American writer, poet, and philosopher who is best known for his book “Walden,” which is a reflection on his experiences living in a cabin in the woods near Walden Pond. In that work, Thoreau writes about the simple, natural life he leads and the lessons he learns about himself, society, and the world.

🎈 COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE 🎈

The Columbia River Gorge is a spectacular river canyon cutting the only sea-level route through the Cascade Mountain Range. It's 80 miles long and up to 4,000 feet deep with the north canyon walls in Washington State and the south canyon walls in Oregon State.
The Crown Point (where I took the photo ) is one of the scenic lookouts along the historic Columbia River Highway with panoramic views of parts of the Columbia River. It rises 733 feet (223 m) above the river and is the remains of a lava flow that filled the ancestral channel of the Columbia River between 14 and 17 million years ago.
The point was designated a National Natural Landmark
in 1971. -en.wikipedia

Mother Nature is the ultimate inspiration. When you’re feeling sluggish, simply walking outside and getting fresh air can do wonders for your mood and outlook. Often, nature’s beauty can take your breath (and words) away.-Abigail Wilt

We experience happiness as a series of pleasing moments. They come and go like clouds, unpredictable, fleeting, and without responsibility to our desires. Through honest self-work, reflection, and meditation, we begin to string more of these moments together, creating a web-like design of happiness that drapes around our lives.

🌈🌈🌈 RAINBOW 🌈🌈🌈

Magic exists. Who can doubt it, when there are rainbows and wildflowers, the music of the wind and the silence of the stars? Anyone who has loved has been touched by magic. It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part of the lives we live. -Nora Roberts
