The best time to build your personal brand was three years ago.

The next best time is today.

But here’s the part most people skip:

Build it in public.

Don’t wait for the polished version.
Don’t wait for the final outcome.
Don’t wait until it “looks impressive.”

When you build in public:
– You build resilience.
– You attract people who see the ups and the downs.
– You create a loyal community, not just an audience.

And you get real-time feedback.

You’ll know early if something resonates.
You’ll know if it doesn’t.
You won’t waste years building something nobody asked for.

Perfection builds ego.
Visibility builds strength.

somewhere along the way, writing on the internet turned into actual work. and that work turned into something that really matters to me.

not just content or clients or career moves, but conversations that help people make sense of who they are and what they want next.

so now, i’m doing something a little… dramatic. i’ve started a postgrad diploma in executive coaching leading to accreditation. aka: diving headfirst into relational coaching, leadership psychology, change theory and probably a few identity crises too.

because growth isn’t linear.
clarity doesn’t show up on command.
but if you sit with the right questions long enough, it usually leads somewhere good.

there’s always more to learn. more to give. more to grow into.

ps: yes, ofc i’ll be posting about it. 🎀 taken in London, United Kingdom by @linkedinac

I’ve tried almost every fitness app that exists.

Perfect meal plans. Ideal training splits. Onboarding flows that ask 40 questions and spit out a “personalised” plan that looks exactly like everyone else’s.

I abandoned every single one within about three weeks.

Not because I lack discipline. I run a business, teach at Hult, and I’m rarely in one place for more than a few days. If anything, I’m used to holding myself accountable.

The problem was always the same: the plan never survived contact with an actual week.

One missed session. One delayed flight. One day that went sideways. And instead of adjusting, the plan just... broke. So I’d quit rather than “fail” at it.

Sound familiar?? it’s the same failure mode I see constantly in business strategy:

→ A plan that only works when nothing goes wrong isn’t a plan, it’s a best-case scenario.
→ Perfection isn’t a system. It’s a bet that your life stays predictable.
→ The people who actually get results build for the bad weeks, not the ideal ones.

This is exactly what made me pay attention to @join360me. It adapts when you’re busy instead of expecting you to work around it. Instead of 40 decisions a day, you get 3 clear actions. Missing a day doesn’t reset your progress to zero, and the plan is built around your actual patterns, not a generic template.

It connects to Apple Health, learns your real week, and adjusts instead of guilt-tripping you into starting over.

P.S. It’s FREE while they’re in early access (paid tiers coming later), and they’ve just opened their founding cohort.

If you want early access, comment “360” and I’ll send you the link. 🔗

P.P.S they built the system with BANT certified nutritionists and certified PTs and have a new release every week! #Ad taken in London, United Kingdom by @linkedinac

There is no choice that comes without regret. Every path costs you something.

So is it really a risk if what you’re risking is a life you never wanted anyway.

We treat change like it’s dangerous, like staying still is the safe option.

But staying in a life that’s slowly killing you isn’t safe. It’s just familiar.

Kierkegaard said it best, marry and you will regret it. Don’t marry, you will also regret it.

Marry or don’t marry, you will regret it either way. That’s the truth no one wants to admit.

There is no choice that comes without regret. Every path costs you something.

So if regret is guaranteed either way, why are you choosing the version that keeps you small?

Take the risk, not because it’s safe, but because the alternative is regretting a life you never even tried to live.

At least regret the things you did, not the things you were too scared to… by @linkedinac

I want to be real about balance, because the way people talk about it is dishonest.

There is no perfect half-and-half every single day.

Some weeks I’m heads down in client deliverables, content, calls. Then because of that, some weeks I’m in Croatia not opening my laptop.

Over time it evens out. The average is good. The average is sustainable. And when you build the right kind of business, a service business, run through your personal brand - you control that rhythm. Nobody else does.

—

I’m going to teach you how to build a service-based business through your personal brand. On LinkedIn, the most underutilized platform for making real money. Almost nobody our age is showing up there properly. That gap is the opportunity.

Offer creation. Personal branding. Getting clients. The full system. From someone living it.

as AI gets better at thinking, what should we be learning?

spent monday evening with brilliant people wrestling with exactly that. two ideas i can’t stop thinking about: Benedetta Mammi on taste as the last untouchable human edge, and Niresh Rajah on what happens when the training ground for judgment quietly disappears.

swipe for both. the second one is the uncomfortable one.

→ save this if you’re thinking about what to double down on building right now.

Your headline is the most overworked, underwritten part of your entire profile.

It shows up everywhere, every comment you leave, every connection request, every post. It's working for you or against you constantly, whether you're thinking about it or not.

Here's the actual formula. Not your job title. The outcome you create, for who.

Before: "Marketing Specialist for Startups." That tells me what you do. It tells me nothing about what happens because of you.

After: "I drive growth for startups through strategic marketing." Same person. Completely different pull.

p.s. One more thing... the first 45 to 50 characters matter more than the rest. That's what shows in search and in the feed before it gets cut off. Front-load the part that actually says something!
