Who we are: We're Seán & Cillian Desmond, two scratch golf from Cork Ireland and this is our page links Life. We love golf, especially links golf and we love playing golf together & with friends. Ireland is home to some of the best golf courses in the world and we want to showcase how amazing these golf courses are, how amazing the country and scenery is and how much fun it can be to play golf in Ireland. We are starting a series called the wild Atlantic golf series where we play golf courses on the west coast of Ireland from some of the most prestigious courses in the world down to courses on islands where sheep are used to mow the fairways. Come  follow us on our journey to play these beautiful golf courses and to have some fun along the way #wildatlanticway #foryoupage #fyp #foryou #fy #golfireland #golfcourse #golfinsta #links #golfer #irishgolf #ireland #linkslife #golfvlog #golf by @linkslifegolf
14 holes, sheep and a graveyard. All on one golf course. 🐑⛳️ Gweedore might just be one of the most unique golf courses we’ve played. During the summer, I was lucky enough to spend a couple of days up in Donegal with @conormcgowan.golf We were shown around Gweedore by two locals, Pádraig (Paddy) and Michael. What. A. Treat. Gweedore GC is situated in Gaoth Dobhair, in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht, where our native Irish language, Gaeilge, is still very much alive. Both lads are native Irish speakers (myself and Seán are fluent also) 🇮🇪 Walking the fairways that are kept tight by sheep, you can see that the natural flow of the ground is untouched. The layout winds itself around the headland and reminds you of how golf was meant to be played. None of these 13 stimp greens and manicured fairways, this place is rugged, a true natural links. I love it. Unusually the course is 14 holes, you play 1-4 twice, and also features a graveyard in the middle of the course. Quirkiness that gives it even more character. It’s fantastic. Shoutout to Paddy who shot a bogey free 67 (-3). Serious shooting and one of the best rounds I’ve witnessed. Huge thanks to the lads and Galfchumann Ghaoth Dobhair for having us. Can’t wait to go back. Míle buíochas! ☘️ Get this place on your list, lads. It’s a must-play. @gweedoregolfclub @padraigodochartaigh7 @michael__mcbride06 by @linkslifegolf

Strandhill is one of the most rugged but beautiful golf courses in Ireland by @linkslifegolf
New Club time!! Cillian took the feedback to heart after the WITB. A trip to @mcguirksgolf to get fit for a new 7 wood on the cards. Titliest GTS 3 was the weapon of choice after going to the rigorous fitting process in mcguirks Cork. Highly recommend Philip Dorney inside if you're looking for a new Club. What an operator. #golf #titleist #linkslife by @linkslifegolf
Australia, where should I play golf? 🇦🇺⛳️ Cillian here — and will be heading down under this November! I’ll be around Melbourne for the first two weeks of my trip and would love to get a few rounds in with some good people ☘️ Open to all suggestions of courses on the sand belt, also keen to head down the Mornington Peninsula and great ocean road 🦘 If you’ve a recommendation or a slot in your fourball, drop a comment or send me a DM! Would be class to meet some new people to play with down in Aus🇦🇺 #MelbourneGolf #GolfAustralia #MorningtonPeninsula #sandbelt #golf by @linkslifegolf
