Three things I’m practicing right now: saying no, trusting the process, and trying new things outside my comfort zone. I’m currently good at about one and a half of them by @linsighht

Six months ago, I had a gastric bypass.

I thought the hardest part would be the surgery. It wasn’t. It was learning to eat again, and learning to see myself differently. Nobody warns you how lonely it can feel to be afraid of every single bite, or to look in the mirror and still see the person from before.

These are the things I’ve learned so far: there is no « like before », the effort nobody sees is the biggest part, and I wasn’t alone, even when it felt like it.

This isn’t a before and after. It’s just the real part, and it’s only the beginning. I’ll be talking more about it here, so if you have questions, ask me.

I don’t buy things to complete a look. I keep what I like until it starts to feel like mine. The lamp, the dried flowers, the magazines on the shelf: none of it is new, and none of it is going anywhere #roomtour #interiordesign #apartmentstyle #homedecor #lovedobjects by @linsighht

Deauville in October is mostly wind, empty beaches and very good hotel breakfasts. We came for the spa and stayed for the sea. Three of us, no plan, no one checking the time 🍂 by @linsighht

a little kitchen experiment 🍓

homemade wholemeal scones, whipped butter & raspberry compote — all made from scratch and a little less sweet.

I’ve been wanting to turn my kitchen experiments into something more than just photos in my camera roll, so here’s the first edition of Linsighht · Kitchen Notes.

A little collection of recipes, things I’m learning, and food worth making again.

save this for your next baking day ♡

what keep me sane this autumn 🍂 by @linsighht

I walked into the Palais Galliera in a full jogging set, the one I only ever wear to work out, and spent the morning thanking women who lived two centuries before me.
Un vestiaire à soi follows the women of the 19th century who borrowed from the men’s wardrobe: some with a police permit, some without. I came out angry, then proud, then mostly grateful.
It’s on until 14 February at @palaisgallieramuseedelamode Go if you can. 🤍 by @linsighht
