POSTS STORIES REELS

It’s our birthday... and if you know us, you know we hate our birthday.

So we’re keeping our yearly tradition alive and turning the tables by bringing the celebration (and gifts) to you.

This birthday looks a little different than we imagined. We pictured spending today welcoming customers through the doors of our retail store, but permits had other plans. Instead, we’re celebrating with the community that has supported us through every twist and turn.

BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY
To enter:
• Follow us
• Like this post
• Share it to your story and tag us
• Tag someone who made you smile recently and tell us why

Unlimited entries. Each tagged person/comment counts as an additional entry.
Giveaway ends June 19th at 11:59 PM PST.

Three winners will each receive:
• $29 store credit
• A surprise gift

And because we wanted everyone to be part of the celebration...

Today only, use code BIRTHDAY for 10% off EVERYTHING on our website, including brands we carry that aren’t Love Liparu products. Every order placed today will also receive TWO surprise gifts!

Don’t forget to mention rep code in the order notes at checkout and we’ll make sure they receive credit.

Thank you for sticking with us while we navigate permits, repairs, and all the unexpected challenges that come with opening our first retail space. Every order, comment, share, and word of encouragement means more than you know.

P.S. Please excuse the old photo. Between everything going on, we’ve been a little too mentally fried to take new birthday photos together, and this weekend’s heatwave definitely didn’t help. by @liparusliparu

From closet to storefront.

These are the first moments of Liparu taking in our next adventure.

Grand Opening June 13, 2026 Wallingford, Seattle

What started as sewing bandanas out of a closet has slowly grown into something we have dreamed about for a long time.

We are opening a space of our own. A place where pet parents can walk in and feel good about what they are buying, without second guessing ingredients, sourcing, or quality.

Everything you already know and love from Love Liparu is not going anywhere. You will still be able to shop online, now alongside a space where you can come in, see it, and be part of it in person.

Our treats will be available for local pickup, along with a curated collection of products from small businesses we love and items we think you will love just as much.

We truly cannot wait to share this with you. Follow along as we build the space.

Much love, Sarah + Liparu by @liparusliparu

Love Liparu is 5 🎉

Five years ago Love Liparu started in a closet sewing bandanas. Today we focus on creating high quality freeze dried treats and training advocacy products. To celebrate, Liparu and I took a walk in the woods and did a little photoshoot. Swipe to see the BTS.

Love Liparu has a fresh new look and launched a new website, and to celebrate this next chapter we’re doing something special.

Enjoy 20% off sitewide using code 5YEAR and don’t forget to mention a rep code at checkout. Every order placed during the sale will receive a surprise gift. Sale ends March 16th at 11:59 pm PST.

And to celebrate turning 5, we’re also hosting a Love Liparu anniversary giveaway. One winner will receive $100 in Love Liparu shop credit along with first access to our upcoming limited edition treats.

To enter, like this post, follow @love_liparu, share the post, and tag at least one friend in the comments. Each comment counts as an entry and you may tag as many friends as you’d like.

The giveaway closes March 20 at 11:59 PM PST. Open to US residents only. This giveaway is not affiliated with Instagram.

Thank you for supporting Love Liparu these past 5 years.

Love,
Sarah + Liparu by @liparusliparu

Every year, November 29 reminds me how life has a way of returning light to the places that once felt dark. Six years ago, on a date that once held heavy memories, something beautiful arrived to rewrite it all.

On November 29, 2019, while I was living in Namibia and spending the morning under a sun baked tree, Lollie gave birth to four tiny souls. Three at first, and then, hours later, a little girl pup discovered behind a curtain, stubborn enough to enter the world on her own time.

I visited the pups in the ditch where they slept, checking on them again and again because I could not help myself. I watched the only boy get scooped up by my host sister, and I turned my attention to the girls, looking for a sign.

And there she was.
The only pup with a white ring around her tail.
The one always awake while her siblings slept.
The one who stuck her head inside a can like she was already searching for life’s secrets.
That was the moment I knew she was mine.

A gift from Lollie, the dog who kept me company, trusted me, and unknowingly gave me the greatest blessing of my Peace Corps years.

Today, Liparu turns 6.

Six years of companionship, comfort, and a kind of love that still surprises me.

To celebrate the little pup who changed everything, we are having a birthday sale:
🎉 20% off everything with code LIPARU6
🎁 Two free surprise gifts in every order
⏰ Ends December 2 at 11:59 pm PST
🐾 Do not forget to mention a rep at checkout
