![🌹💋 The rose symbolizes divine love, the unfolding of the human soul, and emotional healing. Its gradual bloom represents inner wisdom, while its thorns reflect the boundaries and pain necessary for growth.

When a woman is a victim of domestic violence, she is sometimes gaslit into believing that what she endured was not abuse, nor a near death experience, but it was all in her head. She may begin to think she's crazy or he may be able to successfully manipulate her and others into thinking that SHE was the abuser the whole time (think Amber Heard and Johnny Depp).

I was able to prove my husband's homicidal intent by looking through his old phone. In his old phone, I found a poem that he had written. This poem is titled: "i thought about killing you".
My husband - Asael Reyes - tried to MURDER. ME.

![The massacre and near-extinction of the indigenous Taíno people occurred during the 16th century under Spanish colonization of the Caribbean. Driven by forced gold mining, enslavement (encomienda), devastating European epidemics, and brutal military expeditions—such as the infamous 1503 Massacre of Xaragua—the Taíno population collapsed from hundreds of thousands to a tiny fraction within decades. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Events and Causes
The Encomienda System: Spanish authorities forced Taínos into grueling, unpaid labor in mines and fields, causing widespread starvation and working many to death. [1, 2]
Massacres: Military suppression wiped out entire communities and leadership structures, most notably the 1503 Massacre of Xaragua in Hispaniola, where Spanish forces slaughtered local chiefs (caciques) and civilians. [1]
Disease: Lacking immunity to European diseases like smallpox, measles, and influenza, the native populations suffered catastrophic mortality rates. [1, 2]
Acts of Resistance and Despair: Faced with absolute terror and torture, many Taíno engaged in armed conflict (such as the Spanish–Taíno War) or chose collective suicide and infanticide using cassava plant poison rather than submit to slavery. [1, 2]
The Myth of Extinction
Official Erasure: Spanish colonial censuses and administrative records eventually declared the Taíno extinct by the mid-to-late 1500s as distinct communities vanished from official view. [1, 2]
Paper Genocide: Historians describe this administrative disappearance as a "paper genocide"—an institutional erasure that ignored survivors who integrated, hid, or intermarried. [1, 2]
Modern Survival: Contemporary historical research, cultural revitalization movements, and modern DNA evidence confirm that Taíno bloodlines, heritage, and cultural identity survived strongly across the Caribbean, including in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
