Last night, @bigrubeharley, known to all as Big Rube, opened an art exhibition of his work at the Stable at Crane Arts. Mr. Jenkins, who calls Rube Big Bro, attended this event, which was deeply personal for him.

Proceeds went to support necessary procedures for Rube’s medical journey.

“Having stood on the council floor and just delivered remarks about universal healthcare, I think Big Rube is a symbol of why we must, as a community, fight for the right to healthcare. No one should ever be in a situation where they have to raise the money they need to survive while fighting to stay alive!! Sadly, too many of us are there right now.”
