From boardrooms to the mountains. From deadlines to sunrises.

A few years ago, we made a decision that many thought was risky—we left our corporate careers behind and moved to the Himalayas.

It wasn’t about escaping city life. It was about choosing a different way of living.

We wanted our daughter to grow up with mountains instead of malls, seasons instead of traffic, and experiences instead of routines.

Today, seeing our story featured by NDTV @ndtvindia is a reminder that sometimes the biggest rewards come from taking the path that doesn’t make sense to everyone.

The journey hasn’t always been easy. Every monsoon brings uncertainty. Tourism slows down. Businesses are tested. Nature reminds us who’s really in charge.

But despite the challenges, we’ve never regretted this decision.

Today, our life revolves around Ara Homestay, Ara Home Cafe, fitness, the outdoors, and building a community around the mountains we now call home.

Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us, trained with us, supported our small businesses, and believed in our journey.

And thank you to NDTV @ndtv for sharing our story with the country.

Sometimes, the road less travelled truly becomes home.

Morning sun, mountain air, and my favourite running partner — my wife.

Living in Manali means starting our mornings with sunshine, fresh mountain air, and a reason to get moving. And honestly, sharing this lifestyle with your partner makes it even better.

For us, fitness is about staying active, growing stronger, and enjoying the journey together.

Gear check from @2xuindia : 2XU VisoR Cap + Aero Jacket

The VisoR Cap helps shield the eyes from the bright morning sun..
Aero Jacket is a lightweight layer for those cool mountain starts. Practical gear that helps us stay comfortable as we get moving.

Find your pace. Find your person. Keep moving.

Baking is also my passion just like fitness. And if you are in Manali next time, do visit our cozy cafe nestled amongst the mountains.

Happy Birthday to my wife, my best friend, my partner in life, and the most important person in our family.

We’ve been through so many versions of life together — from building a family and raising our daughter, to leaving our old lives behind, moving to the mountains, building our home and business, chasing adventures, travelling, trekking, running, and figuring things out along the way.

You’ve been my partner not just in life, but in every crazy idea, every difficult decision, every success and every uncertain day.

Happy Birthday @lipikab
Here’s to many more adventures, mountains, businesses, crazy plans and ordinary days together.

Love you. ❤️🏔️
