PROJECT V8 💨In collaboration with @coolermaster and @acura - we created our next fusion between our automotive passion and PCs. We’re displaying the build this weekend at the @gplongbeach , though we’ll also be showcasing Cooler Master’s upcoming V8 ACE CPU cooler instead of their APEX you see pictured here - hence the significance of the V8 😉We were tasked with creating a custom PC that would be heavily themed around an engine. Since we’ve done a few other builds in the past that have been remarked as futuristic engines, this was a super exciting project to take on! We altered our existing velocity stack design to accommodate the overall sizing and ergonomics of the custom chassis and component selection, along with designing a fully functional exhaust header system that actually works damn well at expelling airflow out the back! Obviously we called upon our friends at @alphacool_int to aid in support of this project, and they were eager to participate. Hidden away from view is a waterblocked RTX 5080 Astral that sits on the underside of the top chassis panel, with dual 480mm radiators cooling it in a loop design that calls back to braided oil lines running through an engine bay. This was also a great opportunity to showcase Cooler Master’s upcoming MasterFan ML fans - a solid metal frame AND blade that look just as good as they perform; you can really feel a ton of air coming from the 3D printed exhaust tips! ITX OFST AVAILABLE NOW 👀Welp, we went ahead and designed an ITX version of our new OFST! As the name implies, this version is dedicated specifically for ITX motherboards. Most times, ITX boards can usually produce some awesome RAM speeds with the memory traces aligning so closely to the CPU. Because of that, your super expensive RAM on your ITX motherboard also deserves some proper cooling in style 🤌🏻Available on our website now, the ITX OFST is a downloadable STl file kit that comes with two different heights in case your motherboard is stacked with heatsinks and daughter boards for NVMe drives, very much like this ROG Strix Z890-I Gaming WiFi pictured here. It also comes with shrouds for both 10mm and 20mm thick 40mm fans so you can utilize your favorite Noctua, Noiseblocker or even Gelid 40mm fans 💯We’re also slowly approaching the idea of offering the OFST and ITX OFST as an actual 3D printed product that we’ll ship out, in case you want one but don’t have a way to 3D print your own. WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPION 🦊We recently completed a very special PC build with @uabasketball for De’Aaron Fox, and we are so stoked with how it turned out! We combined some really nice components together into something we felt was unique and tasteful, whilst adorned in champagne gold ✨There’s no denying the insane presence the Limited Edition @coolermaster Cosmos Alpha Gold brings to this build though - an absolute beauty that completely stands apart from other traditional cases. It’s utterly massive, with more than enough room for any combination of PC components or cooling setup. Continuing the black and gold aesthetic, we utilized the always tasteful ProArt line of components from @asususa - we couldn’t imagine any other hardware for a build like this. And since we wanted to keep things modest even though we’re dealing with so much champagne gold, we wanted to pair up the ProArt hardware with a subtle kit of DDR5; @patriot_viper ‘s Elite 5 in all black. The watercooling loop turned out super clean but it did in fact take the most time to sort out. Between the Cosmos’ upper and lower shroud layout, it was actually pretty tricky to sort out getting the tubing from the main chamber of the case to the upper radiator section whilst maintaining a clean aesthetic. It was the perfect opportunity to design a custom BLK mount that localized the tubing in a manner that allowed the tubing to flow in a sensible way. When it came to the watercooling components, we went with a near full stack of @bitspower parts that we felt went really well with the overall aesthetic. The lighting on their Cuboid reservoir was perfect for making the coolant look like actual champagne 🍾 Employing a LiquidHaus classic - hybrid tubing with a mix of brass tubing and sleeved soft tubing along with color matching the Bitspower Artemis fittings to be champagne gold, we’re really happy with how the loop turned out and the cooling performance is more than sufficient for the @amd Ryzen 7 9800X3D, especially when the radiator has @noiseblockerofficial eLoop fans mounted to it! More shots of EXO 001 because we’re really enjoying it 😁Though for how much we are enjoying it, it’ll be time to build something else completely different with the EXO. We’re thinking about utilizing a vertical 560mm radiator in some way, very similarly to one of the test setups we did just before we started the pre-order for these. In addition to a different radiator layout, it’ll be a good time to swap around other watercooling components and prep the chassis for a true hot swap operation for testing different parts and such. There are just so many awesome options out there and we want to experience it all!We also just added the dual 80mm fan shroud for these OFST, both for 15mm thick fans as well as 25mm thick fans. Contemplating if the EXO should have been called the EVO 🤔Why? Because this chassis is awesome for tinkering with your PC - it constantly evolves! Currently having some fun with translucent filament from @bambulab_official , so it only made sense to implement some of it onto this build. The lavender goes really well with the Area 51 sleeving from @mdpcx and is pure nostalgia for those of us from the 1900s - Atomic Purple, anyone?! 😆Also, we’ll be adding the dual 80mm fan side shroud to the OFST product page in case anyone wants to cover up the sidewalls of their fans for an even more unique look! Maybe we throw these tube clamp designs on the site as well! Would like to offer multiple spacing variants and such as a package if anything, including for AIO tubing. TIME TO MOD 🛠️It wasn’t too long ago we wrapped up this full ProArt themed PC for @asususa , utilizing their entire collection of components which also included their AIO. But now we’ll be diving into what it’ll take to do a crazy watercooling loop in this PA602 case. There’s a lot of unseen issues with this case that reveal themselves the second you want to do anything other than the build that Asus laid out for you, and so achieving what we want to achieve with this will require some modifications along with some custom 3D designs to help fulfill our vision. OFST - Dual 80mm Offset RAM Cooler is available now!After many design iterations and testing, we’re happy to finally launch our own take at how to keep those high speed RAM kits nice and cool. This design directs airflow across not just your RAM though - it provides direct airflow across your CPU socket and surrounding VRMs to help maintain a stable and high performing system. The OFST is a downloadable STL design meant to be 3D printed. That way, you can print it in your own choice of filament type and color. All iteration testing here was done in PLA with wonderful results. This design also adds a ton of functional flare to your PC, and we’re really happy with it. MONTECH TG3 👀Our last LIVE stream build in all its glory! The new TG3 case by Montech is actually a great budget case that we are really happy with! Simplistic design with more than enough features to handle most build configurations you’d want to throw at it, all for just $59.99! 🤩We’re really enjoying how much Montech has been offering consumers for the prices they’re setting, and it’s definitely a crucial time for that in the PC market. Of course we had to add a few customized touches to this build but we think it turned out awesome. 🤘🏻It was quite the stream, from sorting out embedded shrapnel within the CPU socket to bypassing the GPU to sort out Bifurcation and showcasing full installation of our yet-to-be-released GPU relocation bracket, it was a great time hanging out with everyone while we assembled this PC and got it up and running fully. 🤓The two tone aesthetic really sets this build off though, pairing the black and silver TG3 with MSI’s Z890-S Pro PZ and the Asus TUF RTX 5080 OC, this thing looks goooood. And with the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, this thing can slay some games with ease. It’s got just the right amount of RGB to make up any deficit in FPS too 😏We did add a fun LH shroud to Montech’s Hyperflow ARGB AIO to help minimize the RGB a bit but we think it matches the build’s aesthetic well.
