After losing myself, making a *zillion* mistakes, and disappearing from society almost entirely, I am here to report that I know absolutely nothing ~

🦋

The loss of a beloved partner nearly 2 years ago has shown me that there is only mystery. However, I have acquired many thoughts and experiences as I’ve very slowly grieved (an endless process that is filled with contractions and openings all at the same time) ~ and one of my main takeaways is: we cannot hide from ourselves forever. There will come a reckoning of truth for many of us, and all we can hope is to be resourced enough to face it head on ~ when the time is right. Dissociation may seem like an easy out, but it only prolongs the inevitable. If we are choosing to be here and be *fully* human, many tears must be shed. Do not fear the void

It is vulnerable for me to share personal things, especially on a platform such as this. I’ve reclused into a deep well of my own making and hidden myself away from many loved ones. I am eternally learning and try my best to show up, sometimes with very little success. I am blessed to have dance to fall back on: somehow it has stayed with me even through all the pain ~ however, I’ve experienced many pitfalls in keeping a business alive through this difficult time. I know he wants me to thrive, so I’ve continued on and on. I do apologize for my lack of consistency. It’s been a time of many lessons

I express gratitude to my dear family and loved ones and to all of you who choose to support a random wiggling internet stranger ❤️‍🔥 I hope to be able to support many beings in the ways I have been supported. Sending love

One of the very best things about dance is all the wonderful humans I get to connect with. I am fairly hermit-y these days but movement continues to pull me into the world in the sweetest ways 🦋 grateful
