Muscle is about so much more than appearance. It plays a major role in strength, mobility, metabolic health and how well we continue to move through life. 💪✨ Research in older adults has consistently linked lower muscle mass and strength with poorer long-term health outcomes, which is one more reason resistance training and maintaining lean muscle become increasingly important as we age. At Studio 60, we want you training for more than the way you look today. We want you training for the way you want to move, feel and live 10, 20 and 30 years from now. That can mean: 🔥 Strength-focused Mat classes 🔥 Pilates + Sculpt 🔥 XFORMER training 🔥 Hot Yoga and mobility work 🔥 A community that helps you stay consistent You do not have to become a bodybuilder. You just have to keep giving your body a reason to stay strong. The wellness industry doesn’t have a growth problem. It has an identity problem. Somewhere along the way, wellness stopped being about creating healthier people… …and started becoming about opening another studio, following another trend, or creating another Instagram moment. There seems to be a new studio opening every week. Many look identical. Many are built in shopping centers with little parking. Many are so small they can’t accommodate the members they sell memberships to, so classes end up in churches, restaurants, bars, breweries, parks, and wherever else space can be found. Is that really the experience people deserve? Then we started calling post-workout drinks “wellness.” Since when did alcohol become a health product? If we’re going to use the word wellness, it should actually mean something. It should mean… • Consistent experiences. • Spaces built for community. • Health before hype. • Long-term habits over short-term trends. • Helping people become healthier—not just entertained. This isn’t about attacking businesses. It’s about protecting an industry that has genuinely changed millions of lives. Yoga changes lives. Pilates changes lives. Movement changes lives. Let’s not dilute that. Agree or disagree? What’s the biggest thing you think the wellness industry is getting wrong right now? 👇 I want to hear every perspective. Share this with someone who cares about the future of wellness. #wellness #pilates #yoga #fitness #health by @lireformerguide
Most people don’t quit the gym because they’re lazy. They quit because they’re bored, overwhelmed, inconsistent, injured, or simply not seeing results. That’s exactly why I made the switch to reformer Pilates. Instead of walking into a crowded gym with no direction, I found: • Full body workouts that actually challenge you • Low impact training that’s easier on the joints • Better posture, flexibility, and core strength • Smaller classes with real energy and accountability • A workout that leaves you feeling stronger instead of destroyed It stopped feeling like punishment and started feeling like something I genuinely looked forward to. People aren’t just chasing workouts anymore. They’re chasing experiences, community, results, and longevity. That’s why reformer studios are exploding right now. 👀 #Pilates #ReformerPilates #HotYoga #Wellness #FitnessJourney MindBodyConnection PilatesStudio HealthyLifestyle FitnessMotivation LongIsland LongIslandFitness Studio60 WorkoutMotivation SelfCare ReformerWorkout WellnessJourney PilatesCommunity GymAlternative FunctionalFitness LuxuryWellness by @lireformerguide
