In 2013, I was lucky enough to be cast in a genuinely fantastic Nickelodeon show called “Big Time Rush.” Season 4, Big Time Cameo. Cast by @gfloodnyc and run by @scottwfellows the show was smart, funny, and sharp. My son and I became obsessed with the music of the boy band featured on the show, and I still want to get to a concert one day. I had the best time on this show, everyone was SO NICE, and it lead to another show I loved. (The first and only time a producer said he had another part for me and meant it!) my neck still hurts from that wig!! I did my first Hannah Montana before the show aired, and the next two after it was a huge hit. The set felt pretty similar both times. Just a lot of good people making a fun show. My performance was ridiculous and huge… but Disney Channel isn’t known for its subtlety. And I’m not known for my acting chops. Which begs the question: What AM I known for??? #hannahmontana #disney #disneychannel #miley #fyp by @lisa.arch

Dinner and a Movie on TBS with @mentalpod and @chefclaudmann was so much fun, it rarely felt like work. Some of the best times of my career were spent with these two in LA and Atlanta. It’s a job I truly miss. Plus, back then I was eating gluten and dairy!! I miss THOSE two almost as much as I miss THESE two! You know what I mean. PLUS, I truly learned to cook on this show. Very grateful for that. #dinnerandamovie #comedy #fyp #television #host by @lisa.arch

X-Files, season 7 “Orison.” I shot this in 1999 and I still have bad dreams about the bathtub scene. Before this, I had only done comedy. Also, after this. I’d like to do more drama as long as it doesn’t involve wigs, tight dresses, or bathtubs. Or science fiction. Or me hitting someone over the head with a blunt object. Here’s one bit of trivia: I think I’m wearing the same wig as Cammie, my puppet from Crank Yankers. #xfiles #comedian #fyp #scifi #redhead by @lisa.arch

1997. Mad TV. “Belle, The Beauty.” That’s Chris Hogan in bed. Super fun sketch. This was a character I created for stand-up. She was an actor who worked at Disneyland, who actually believed she was Belle. It’s not hard for me to play delusional. #madtv #comedy #fyp #comedian #sketchcomedy by @lisa.arch

Apparently, there’s an 80s trend going on. This is an actual picture of me from 1989 on my senior graduation trip to Hawaii. Pretty sure I’ve posted this before, but if I’m not jumping on a bandwagon…. Then what am I doing with my life? #80s #fyp #valleygirl #1989 #80sfashion by @lisa.arch
