Here I am, minding my own business, chillin in my car before I head into Costco... when suddenly, some creepy dude is outside my window eating a hot dog... never breaking eye contact... just staring into my soul while shoving a meat log into his mouth... by @lisabreanne13

Seeing alot of men's responses and opinions to the Cornell 7 atrocity is disheartening but not surprising. Will those who believe that women somehow ask to be assaulted ever truly disappear? No. They will always live amongst us and sadly, it has fallen on us, as women, to be diligent wherever we go.
What does still surprise me is the amount of women who also believe that other women bring it on themselves. The gross amount of other women that are defending the actions or downplaying the severity of all of this is appalling to say the very least. by @lisabreanne13

In Across the Black Veil Presents Massacre on the Mountain

I took a much needed few days social media break after the event to decompress and take in everything over the last 2 years that culminated in this past weekend. I wanted to take the time to find the right words to convey the immense amount of gratitude I have for each and every one of you but I have come to realize that there are no words 🥹❤️

My heart is so full and overwhelmed by the amount of love and support, although I was non stop the whole time, it never once felt like work. It felt like the biggest, most incredible family reunion. There were some monumental moments that I will never forget and the amount of joy filled laughter I heard all 3 days will ring in my ears for months to come.

I never in a million years dreamed this little nudge of an idea that wouldn't leave me alone, would turn into what it did. And it's because of each and every one of you, thank you for believing in me, for encouraging me, for being my faith when it waned and for seeing the dream on the days I couldn't.

I want to tag all of you individually, because each of you contributed something irreplaceable to Massacre on the Mountain, but hopefully you all know what it means to me to be a small part of this community and to have been trusted with the ability to lift it up ❤️

I love you all, truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Please stay tuned for updates and HERE'S TO MASSACRE ON THE MOUNTAIN YEAR 2‼️‼️‼️ by @lisabreanne13

Totoro curled up right away with my copy of the Latchkey Horrors Anthology.

Tucker's mom is working the late shift so he invites his friends over for pizza and movies. With a fresh bag of candy and some creepy VHS tapes he found at a yard sale, it should be a good time. Except his friends aren't coming---

---And something else is.

11 movies written by 11 authors, each one bringing a new horror to 13 yr old Tucker's night at home alone.

Our next author in the anthology is a pillar of the indie horror community- @lisabreanne13 🎉🎉

Lisa’s story, “Boulder Canyon Road,” is what started the whole idea for this anthology for me! It just has the perfect late 90s/early 2000’s horror feel and inspired the whole project. So thanks Lisa!

When she’s not writing, she’s also organizing the PNW’s best and first indie horror convention called Massacre on the Mountain, making its debut on SEPTEMBER 26th- which just so happens to be when this bad boy releases 😏 imagine that!

If you’re in Oregon the 26th, you should come check out her work, the event, and the anthology 😀 by @lisabreanne13
