Client went elsewhere and ended up with an all over color with her highlights. There is always a rhyme and reason for to do a base color, or not. Base colors will bring out the underlining tone (warmth), which alters the whole canvas. So, if you don't want brass or yellow.... or chasing that and harsh demarcation lines, we chose to do 3 steps. Root smudge with cool toner to blend root and soften unwanted warmth. 2 afterwards, highlighted head 3 lastly, toned all over with cool glaze. Much easier to follow up!

So enjoying our community we are building in the park, Sundays at 8am, Wendy Park, Newbury Park. Though I love finishing the savasana with essential oils and mini reiki....are we in for a treat! Reiki Master, Jewels Jenning will be gifting us with a session straight afterwards. How to soften the grow out when you have a dark base and a patch of white just where your eyes see it. Ugh. So we added some soft brown with her dark chocolate brown. We dont want her light.... just softer and more flexible with demarcation grow out. She is s9 gorgeous! taken in No.36 by @lisacayesmith

This client wanted to be bright, with a natural grow out. Best remedy for this was bright babylights and finishing with a root smudge to soften the demarcation line, blending with the natural. This gives a little bit more time between appointments and still is bright blonde !
