Today is 🌎 Suicide Prevention Day.

I’ve been in some very dark places. They are frightening, and hard to describe to anyone who hasn’t been there. Knitting has been a quiet comfort through those times, something small and steady to hold onto.

Suffering rarely announces itself. It can hide behind a neat appearance, a calm voice, a familiar smile. So be curious. Ask with care. Don’t let assumptions decide who needs kindness. Sometimes being truly seen is what helps someone stay.
