Happy 13th Birthday!!

Today, you officially step into your teenage years! Watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. You came into this world fast and since then you’ve had an energy for life that never ceases to amaze me. You’re always living in the fast lane, yet you never fail to slow down to appreciate the special people and moments that come your way.

I am incredibly proud to be your mom. Seeing you learn and watching you play from the sidelines fills my heart with pride and joy. Your compassion for others and strength inspire me every day. No matter where life takes you, know that I will always be by your side, cheering you on through every challenge and celebrating every triumph.

Do you restart part TWO of your day at 4pm?

I know how crazy the afternoons can get between carpooling, cooking and cleaning… but if I’m taking care of everyone else … you better believe I'm gonna take some ME time at night... and here is my plea for you to do the same. 🙏

I know how crazy life gets when you’re running around, working and shuffling the kids and if dinner often becomes takeout or you can't make time for the gym…

Here are 3 simple things you can do to nourish your skin before you go to sleep.

1️⃣ Take off your makeup because if you don’t it can mix with the dirt and oil that has built up throughout the day on your skin. This can cause clogged pores and breakouts. At night your skin repairs and renews itself so cleansing it will create a vibrant appearance in the morning.

2️⃣ Use a nourishing moisturizer because warning…. not all moisturizers are created equal! The one you use at night can typically be heavier and more nourishing than your day moisturizer because at night you’re not concerned about how it’ll wear under makeup.

3️⃣ Change or wash your pillowcase often and you will prevent breakouts. Sleeping on the same one night after night can allow bacteria to grow and grime to build up on your pillow. 1x a week at least and if you want to do it every few days that’s even better.

Rodan and Fields has brought many things into my life… friendships, community, the gift of great skin and success.

It has also taught me how to be patient, resilient, disciplined and innovative.

In just 4 days I’ll celebrate my 11 year anniversary with R+F and coming off a memorable trip to Hawaii that I had earned from the company, I'm reminded that you should always honor the fire in your belly and the yes in your heart.

I once heard that people who have tremendous hope for themselves in the world tend to create, not wait. R+F has changed my life and has inspired me to change others’.

❗️By accepting the no's with grace and getting out of my own way I decided to push past any limitations and go for it all.
❗️No one told me I couldn't or could achieve my dreams.
❗️I made these decisions all on my own.

Remember in life it's always up to you! So go after what you deserve because you’re worth it.

Made so many great memories and had an awesome experience in Oahu. Next stop… anywhere less than a 10 hr plane ride 😉🌈🌺 by @lisafriesel
