Brice Edward Ginardi — aka Paradise Brice — unfortunately has lost his 2-year battle with cancer. He left us this morning. It all happened way too fast and way too soon, and we are all worse for it.

Brice was a seeker and renaissance man: motorcycle mechanic, bartender, soap maker, brewer, serial entrepreneur, aspiring chef, and more. He always said that he might not remember your name but he’d remember what you drank, ate, and talked about. Wildly imaginative, he worked hard to make his dreams come true, and that’s how we met many of you.

Outside of work, Brice was an adventurer, wanderer, foodie, cocktail enthusiast, sports fan, cat dad, dog lover, expert BS’er, and the world’s best roadtrip partner.

His whole life was about people. He loved to hear your stories, feed you, make you laugh, expand your horizons, introduce you to his friends, his ohana, and his world. He fiercely protected those he loved and was a giver and a helper, always. He will be missed beyond words.

Details about celebrations of his life will be announced soon. In the meantime, please raise a glass, with friends, in his name. by @lisaginardi

I am nourished by my friends and neighbors…

Yesterday it was by @lnschoen84, @wbay502, @barepawsllc, @goodbelly_ky.

Today it is by the supreme sourdough skills of @nachopizzaparty.

(Forgot to mention @imyercat1, @geoffpavey, and all the other great folks who’ve fed me in recent days and weeks. I’m grateful for it all. As you all know, in our household food is love.)

EDITING again because I’m not just grateful for gifts and food… I’m grateful for your emails, texts, cards, hugs, words of support and sympathy, offers of help, and the love I’ve been surrounded with. This has been the worst time of my life but whenever I’ve felt good moments, sweet memories, or laughter it’s been because of you all.
