A few Sundays ago, my best friend and my biggest fan❣️ 😭 asked me to be his wife (just thought he was making a nice bday speech at a casual Sunday BBQ)!

So so loving, loyal, humble, deep, funny, smart and complex (my very owning Rubik’s cube), Marc, has this beautiful child-like ability to take me out of my head and into the now “Lisa, you wanna come and juggle with me?” 🤦🏻‍♀️

Love isn’t about getting it right all of the time. We stumble often, but what I’ve realised is this… it’s the learnings along the way, a promise to grow together, to show up each day with gratitude, an open heart and a willingness to be the best we can be. It takes choosing each other over and over and over.

So, muscles, here’s to choosing each other - to a lifetime of adventures, waterfall chasing, bush walks, terrible surf attempts (sorry about that - I never crawled 😉), cuddles in the kitchen, belly laughs, willy helicopters, bum squidges, and all the beautiful, messy bits in between.

And in case I didn’t quite manage to get the yes out through all the snot and the tears… yes, yes, yes, a million times YES. by @lisamariehuntx

NINE. How are you 9? Nearly a decade since our eyes met for the first time - what was life before you? Lordy, it blows my mind how quickly the years fly by. Driving each other crazy… yet, in so many ways SO very the same. I’m FOREVER in awe of all you are and how you never give up - flipping and ripping and knitting (cc @youth_surf_co + @capeperformingarts + @capebyronsteinerschool) 😆 Love you to the end of the earth, sweet girl - keep chatting incessantly and taking up as much space as you like. You’ve are so loved. HBD, Mum xx by @lisamariehuntx

Always all seems like a short little blur. Never enough time, never enough pictures, never get to see those that I love for long enough… I miss you all, always. 💔 by @lisamariehuntx

In 2008 I met this light in Melbourne, a blip and a passing via some mutual friends - we barely even said hello. Fast forward 15 years and we’re in the same place travelling similar paths and I just couldn’t be more grateful to have you in my life. Tonight you served me tea @cloudhiddentea while the rain poured down outside 🙏🏼 So proud of you and forever in awe of your sweet deep beauty @jessica.crema ❤️ by @lisamariehuntx
