Arrivederci, Sicily! They had to push me into the van to get me to the airport — I wasn't leaving without a fight. 😂 Two weeks, and we're coming home with full hearts, a suitcase of ceramics, and some new life rules:

🍷 I declare lunch breaks shall be a minimum of 3 hours
🍷 Wine is not optional — it's a food group
🍷 Never eat an olive straight off the tree (trust me on this one)
🍷 The rush of seeing 1,700-year-old mosaics uncovered in the 1950s, almost perfectly preserved
🍷 Real gold mosaics glowing in a 850-year-old church
🍷 A church can be a book — just read the mosaics
🍷 The feeling that overwhelms you — a blend of mosaics, carvings, and frescoes, from La Martorana to San Giuseppe dei Teatini
🍷 The Starbucks mermaid has Sicilian cousins
🍷 Walking among ancient Greek temples
🍷 Sitting on our veranda, watching the sunset over the temples
🍷 Memories with great people
🍷 Casually strolled around inside a volcano crater on Mount Etna — as one does
🍷 If you can drive in Palermo, you can drive anywhere in the world
🍷 No spritz, no party — fair warning, this rule is coming home with me
🍷 Being called "madam" kinda grows on you
🍷 Dessert tastes better after dancing

Grazie, Sicilia — for the history, the food, the wine, and the fabulous people. We'll be back — and next adventure planning begins in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… ❤️ by @lisamlicata

Always learning. Always bringing it back to our agents. 🏡

I’m spending a few days at the NYSAR Fall Business Meetings at Turning Stone, connecting with REALTORS® and industry leaders from across New York State.

These meetings are a great opportunity to stay on top of what’s happening in our industry—from legal and regulatory updates to emerging issues, education, professional standards, and the conversations that are helping shape the future of real estate in New York.

As a Managing Broker, I believe part of my responsibility is to keep learning, stay involved, and bring that knowledge home to our agents so they can better serve their clients and grow their businesses.

Real estate never stands still, and neither should we. There’s always something new to learn! 📚🏡 taken in Turning Stone Casino by @lisamlicata

There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes to bring the Saratoga Showcase of Homes to life! 🏡✨

Today was just one small piece of it — and definitely one of the fun ones! We had the luxury of shooting our magazine cover 📸 and TV commercials 🎥 at House #12 on the tour, built by Trojanski Builders.

Beautiful home, gorgeous day, great people… and, as always, a lot of laughs along the way! 😂💙

And this year is an extra special one as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Saratoga Showcase of Homes! 🎉🏡 Three decades of showcasing incredible homes, talented builders and the very best of our local building industry.

It’s exciting to see everything starting to come together for another incredible Showcase. Stay tuned… there’s plenty more to come! 🔑✨ by @lisamlicata

One thing’s for sure… you never know what to expect when this group gets together! 😂 Between the laughs, great teamwork, and a little creativity, we had a blast creating this year’s Realtor Tour campaign.
📅 REALTORS: Save the date for Tuesday, September 29! Tickets go on sale August 31, so be sure to check your inbox for all the details. 📧
Stay tuned… we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on! 👀🎬✨ by @lisamlicata

Thought I’d jump on a fun little trend 😄🎨
Plan. Prep. Execute. Repeat. 💼✨
Basically fueled by coffee, chaos, and a to-do list that keeps getting longer ☕⚡📱
Always onto the next adventure… or at least the next meeting 😂 by @lisamlicata

We celebrated Sydney’s pinning ceremony and today watched her walk across the stage as a graduate of Samaritan School of Nursing with her RN. What an emotional and proud moment for our family. ❤️

Sydney, we could not be more proud of the hard work, determination, sacrifices, and dedication you have shown to get to this point. Nursing is not an easy path, and you handled it with strength, grace, and compassion every single step of the way.

For the last few years, Sydney has worked in the OR in orthopedics, and it’s no surprise she fell in love with that specialty. We are so excited that she has accepted a full-time position at OrthoNY as an RN Circulating Nurse, where she’ll play an important role in the operating room caring for patients, supporting surgeons, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly during procedures. She knew she wanted to stay in orthopedics, and we are so happy she gets to continue doing what she truly loves.

The world is truly a better place with Sydney in it. Her kindness, compassion, calming presence, and genuine care for others make her exactly the kind of nurse people hope to have by their side during difficult moments.

The world is your oyster, Syd, and this is only the beginning. We cannot wait to watch all the amazing things you accomplish in this next chapter. Congratulations, RN! We love you beyond words. 🎓🩺 by @lisamlicata
