The brighter the glow, the darker the shadow.

We're excited to share that new musical The Radium Girls will take us back to the 1920s this Spring!

Olive, Helen and Frances have just landed the jobs of their dreams at the United States Radium Corporation. The wages are good, the work is glamorous and the girls get to paint watch dials with the miracle element of the age: radium.

But beneath its shimmering façade, the Corporation is hiding a deadly secret.

When she realises that the radium itself may be responsible for the mysterious illnesses plaguing the workers, Olive sets out to expose the Corporation’s deadly lie and, together with her friends, give the people at the top a taste of their own poison.

Inspired by the real stories of the radium dial painters of the 1920s, The Radium Girls is a darkly comic, horror-infused new musical about friendship, fury and the fight to make the truth glow.

The Radium Girls | Southwark Playhouse Borough | 20 March - 8 May | Tickets available now 🎟️ Three women in shadow, their lips, the paintbrushes they hold and the puddle they are standing in all shine in a neon blue. Text reads 'The Radium Girls A New Musical' taken in Southwark Playhouse by @lisammongillo

August was a @theradiumgirlsmusical month!! I had the time of my life Directing this new musical with my partner in crime @chaddmcmillan ! Written by @amandadeez @lisammongillo @sami.horneff ! Produced by @highoctaveproductions head up by @wendymh27 Wendy Morgan-Hunter !! First we did an incredible movement lab with the amazing choreography by @rebeccareaney at the wonderful @iamtnyc with their talented students ( whom I look forward to working with again ) and then our AEA 29 hour reading with our literal dream cast ( whom I also can't wait to work with again) !!! With Music supervisor @jonpowerfeld . I ran out of Tags available in a post but there were so many humans that made this month doable !! We all owe our life's to our stage manager Kerry Concannon . Thank you to everyone for lending
your time and talents to this once in a lifetime project and opportunity.. and mostly to Amanda , Sami and Lisa for continued trust in Chadd and I with this show!!
Exciting news to follow !! 💚💚💚💚 taken in Broadway, NYC by @lisammongillo
