I mean, at this point the #hearthandhand Easter eggs are getting a little ridiculous. Not even planted, just part of the story of our home at this point. After all, I did say that I have an addiction…Some serious love for ya @joannagaines 🤎

Well, this little video was a whole lotta fun! You might even spot a little 7-year-old helper hand in there and her little voice taking about turkeys in our yard. 🦃

A cutie bake & make reel of these mouth-watering, quintessential fall cookies. Thank you @butternutbakery for this delightful recipe 🍪 The browned butter makes these chef’s kiss. Tell me if you try them, pals!

Recipe in comments, my dears!

Welcome to Lisa Owens Studio! Before artist and creative, I’m a wife to my best friend, and mom of six great kids ages 7-25. Finding Wonder in the ordinary has led me to sketching and painting the whimsy and charm I see in everyday life. Sometimes little poems also make their way to the scene. I love trying a variety of mediums, but illustration is my passion. I run a monthly mail club called iIf I Were a Mail Club, an exploration and imagination and wonder I truly delight in the little things- a garden inchworm and a velvet ribbon; the nightly closure of the tulip and brass patina of a doorknob. There is wonder everywhere. Never underestimate the power of Noticing. It’s a magical practice- I promise! Join me!✨

My design entry for the @golden.coil notebook cover contest! I had a very specific color palette I wanted to incorporate, including warm butter yellow, and muted fall pastels. Color palettes are often my springboard for creating art and this one is so cozy while still being a year-round addition to a tote bag! #gcxdesign26 #digitaldesign #procreatepattern #journaldesign #junkjournal by @lisaowensstudio

Sat down to sketch and this was the outcome—pie filling! 🥧

I loved playing with oil pastel on my iPad. The messy, sketchy nature of it appeals to me so much! So I’m adding *actual* oil pastels to my mediums and see what happens. Coming in the mail on Monday!🖍️
