The last few months have been so busy. I have not been great at posting and have a lot to catch up on. The first and most important being wishing my first born a proper happy birthday!

I may be a month late, but I would be remiss not to properly commemorate this milestone birthday for my girl.

@avapscott, the girl who made me a mom! The one who gave me the best and most important role of my life, turned 21 one month ago today! Ava, to say I am proud of you is a gross understatement. I am so grateful for you, not only as a daughter, but as a best friend. I love spending time with you and the memories we have made over the years bring me more joy than I could ever put into words. I am beyond proud of the woman you have grown into and no, there is no limit to what you can achieve!

If you don’t have plans yet this weekend, or even if you do, change them and come see Purple Summer Theatre’s Parade, the Musical. Performances are Friday & Sat night and Sunday matinee at Olympic Heights high school!

Set in 1913 Georgia, Parade tells the true story of Leo Frank, a Jewish factory manager wrongly accused of murdering a 13-year-old girl. As prejudice and hysteria overtake justice, Leo and his wife Lucille fight to clear his name, only to face a community consumed by hatred.

It serves as a deeply moving examination of the darkest corners of American history and a profound moral lesson on the dangers of prejudice and ignorance.

An absolute must-see!!
