POSTS STORIES REELS

Found these photos whilst having a downloads folder sort out and realised never shared them. Some lovely photos from @rubyhrpink from the @cornwalltattooconvention1 with @rosierainbowcircus this summer.

Love performing this hoop n silk act and want to do more of it please! And seems fitting as in my memories recently has been the first time I tried this skill with @ande.li at @swhoopcon which we've all missed so much this year.

In 2025 I celebrated 25 years of circus!! It's been quite a journey to get to the artist I am today and although it's been a mammoth task to create this video (hence it actually being posted in 2026!!) it's also been very enjoyable. I hope you enjoy it too. I feel so privileged and incredibly lucky to be able to spend my life doing the thing I love, with people I love, just about making enough money to call it my job. There's been incredible friendships made and kept along the way. @jessierosecircus and @whitmoreacro you obviously feature quite a bit! Thanks also to @joannapalmer_circusartist @creativeretreatspace @wellropey @appleby_hazel and @justine.squire for your appearances and influences over these years. There are many more obviously, just a few to mention :)

I doubt many will watch to the end, it's a long one! But I decided to do it for me anyway. So get a cup of something and sit down and enjoy. And if you do get to the end hopefully you feel the same I do and listen to Kylie!
Big love, and here's to whatever the future may bring!!

Absolutely loved being a living statue today and despite all the weather we put smiles on lots of people's faces and that is a job well done if you ask me.

Thanks @hotchpotchperformance for having me and to @visitnewquayofficial for providing such a good day despite the challenges and looking after all the performers so well.

Climb of the month in my classes this week has been straddle climbs, with an extra bit of spice by adding a hula hoop. It's been fun. And today I decided to make my own training even more fun!!

This Sunday!!! There's still some spaces left for our doubles hoop workshop this Sunday, 10-12.
You asked , we answered!! We're very excited for this one as we both love doubles so much. I feel I've come home when I get in the air with someone. The trust, the energy, and the fun!! There's not many opportunities locally for doubles so grab it while you can. Come with a buddy or on your own, we'll pair you up.

Swhoop big hoop! by @lisatcircus

Who can do box?!? I never could. Used to train it loads but never quite got it solid. Decided to try it again today and got the best box I ever got!! So happy. Watch this space. Not quite act ready of course, but also knocked it and recovered it!! Good steps for my attitude to messing up and persevering too!! Go me 😜

One more sleep until Performance Week!

Students, come along to the Fox Café at Falmouth Campus with your sketchbook and pencils 2.30-4.30 Tuesday 22 September. We'll be drawing Lisa, who will be demonstrating her insane skills with hoops and silks - think fast movement, expressive shapes and the dynamic figure.

Never fear, it sounds challenging but this is a very chill welcome event, just have a go and enjoy the show!

All courses welcome. See you sooooooon!

You might want to get your drawing arm warmed up before Tuesday, because @lisatcircus is bringing her hoops and silks, and when she gets going she is a BLUR.

We can't wait to get scribbling all those fast lines and shapes around the figure, what a brilliant challenge to start the year!

All students welcome, bring your sketchbook, 2.30-4.30pm Fox Café, Tuesday 22 Sept.

See you there!
