If you haven’t been feeling like your best self lately — tired, unmotivated, or just a bit flat — this is your reminder that sometimes the tiniest habit can shift your whole mood. Fashion blogger @lisavain123 shared something so simple but so powerful with me: “It’s not about the brand. It’s about the colour — and how you want to feel.” You don’t need an expensive wardrobe to feel better. You don’t need to reinvent yourself. Sometimes it’s just choosing one bright colour in the morning — a red top, a blue accessory, cute colourful glasses — that gives you a small spark when you need it most. This is for all students, in every degree, who have been struggling lately. If getting out of bed feels heavy… If study feels overwhelming… Try dressing in a colour that lifts you, even a little. It’s a gentle act of self-care you do before the day begins. And if you want affordable bright pieces to play with, Lisa has discount links in her Instagram bio — perfect for students on a budget. You deserve to feel good in your own life. Start with one colour. Start softly. 💗 what colours makes you happy?✨#studentwellbeing #dresswithintention #feelgoodfashion #colourtherapy #studentlifeaus #studyvibes #mentalwellbeingmatters #softgirlera #everydayrituals #budgetfriendlystyle #moodboostinghabits #smallstepsbigchange #unilifeaustralia #aestheticedits #nevervainalwayscolour by @lisavain123
How I spent a Sunny Sunday exploring Evandale Tasmania, while keeping comfortable and looking stylish ☀️ If you’re ever near Launceston, Tasmania add this to your list! The Evandale Country Market (costing only 50 cents!) runs every Sunday from around 8am to 1.30pm in Falls Park on Logan Road. Such a great mix of stalls - local produce, secondhand books, food vans 🍦bric-a-brac, local crafts and the best country vibes. 🤠 There are even pony rides for the kids and the Evandale Light Rail steam train nearby in Morven Park 🚂 For my long weekend away I wanted easy weekender styles that are comfy but still put together. The Benedetta Shirt* from @blackpepperau is 100% cotton with a pretty watercolour leaf print 🩵🍃and their Intense Wide Leg Jean in denim 💙 is that perfect stretchy, comfy wide leg. Paired with my roomy Mila* Weekender bag in Light Denim from @veramayofficial I was perfectly set for a day of market shopping! Do you love shopping country markets too? 🩵 Outfit Details: Benedetta 3/4 Sleeve Shirt*: @blackpepperau Intense Denim Wide Leg Jean*: @blackpepperau Mila Bag in Light Denim*: @veramayofficial Sunglasses: @fendi Earrings: @gormanclothing Shoes: Samba Mary Janes: @adidasoriginals #evandalemarket #tasmaniatravel #weekenderstyle #blackpepperau #veramayhandbags [*Pr] by @lisavain123
What I wore to Melbourne Fashion Week’s event ‘Visible and Valued’ which explored the question ‘Why do women over 50 remain one of fashion’s most overlooked audiences despite their cultural influence and purchasing power?’ It was such an important and interesting conversation featuring Keane @katecopr Sally Mackinnon @styledbysally and Laura Thompson @clothingthegaps and moderated by renowned journalist and author Virginia Trioli @latrioli It will hopefully lead to real change, with brands embracing older influencers and models. Thanks for inviting me to join you @superkombi For the occasion I wore the gorgeous Lillika Dress in ‘Poppies & Friends’ by @leonaedmiston 🌸 Rooted in an original 1910 archive design, Poppies & Friends is a modern, graphic take on classic botanical art. Recoloured in house, it sets delicate dusty-rose poppy buds and soft ivory foliage against a striking black base.🖤 The Lillika is a classic fit-and-flare with a wide boat neckline, below-elbow sleeves, contrast black cummerbund tie (wear with or without) and an asymmetrical frilled hem with petite ruffle trim for beautiful movement. Designed in Australia. 💃 I paired it with the Aleyna bag in black by @veramayofficial from their latest collection — a timeless, lightweight vegan bag in cruelty-free leather that goes with everything. 👜 Outfit Details: Lillika Midi Dress*: @leonaedmiston Aleyna Bag*: @veramayofficial Earrings: @flowature Heels: @cosy_island_official #melbournefashionweek #visibleandvalued #over50style #womenover50 #leonaedmiston lillikadress poppiesandfriends fitandflare veramay veganbag whatiwore [*Pr] by @lisavain123

One of the reasons @gormanclothing has been a favourite of mine for over a decade is that they celebrate women of ALL ages and their colourful pieces bring so much joy! 🌈 As a 50+ #dopaminedresser I was privileged to be invited to celebrate Melbourne Fashion Week with Gorman. 🎉 We started at their Swanston St store with a glass of bubbly 🥂, a browse of the new collection and the dream task of choosing an outfit to watch the runway! 💃 I had the amazing opportunity to meet the Gorman team including the in house designers whose pieces I was wearing - they are the best! Such friendly, welcoming and amazing stylists. Once frocked up, my friends Carly, Fran, Sifat and I joined the Gorman team to watch M/FW ‘Street Style’ show in Melbourne’s City Square. Such a treat - so colourful, fun and pure Gorman joy. 🥹 Thank you @gormanclothing for this incredible opportunity 💛 Outfit details: On The Dot Party Dress - @gormanclothing Mr Donkey Quilted Tote - @gormanclothing High Flyer Necklace - @gormanclothing #gormanclothing #melbournefashionweek #M/FW streetstyle dopaminedressing invited by @lisavain123

Seriously FUN Fashion!! 💖 Consider this your invitation to sparkle a little brighter in this gorgeous pink sequin set from @littlepartydress! ✨ Meet the Astra Top* and Gaga Pant* - The Astra is a loose, boxy, fully lined top with a round neckline and cute drop shoulder sleeves. A stunning sunny Melbourne morning celebrating my daughter Tiffany’s @tiff_jas_ 26th birthday at the @erstwilder ‘Gathering in the Garden’s’ annual community meetup which was also a fun celebration of their new collection collaborating with @royalbotanicgardensvic 🎂🪴 It was lovely to catch up with friends Jules @seemeswoon and Katherine @alethea.25 , the @erstwilder team and also made a new friend Rachel @jelliesquids So many lovely ladies dressed up in a botanical gardens theme and looked resplendent in their @erstwilder accessories. 💐 We enjoyed a lovely picnic on the grass while listening to a talk by the @royalbotanicgardensvic and a fun raffle was drawn. We all got a lovely gift bag, then shopped some lovely pieces from the collection. The perfect morning out. Thanks for organising it @erstwilder 🌸 My outfit details: Dress: @varietyhour_ Brooches: @erstwilder Shoes: @djangoandjuliette Earrings: @flockcuriosityassembly Sunglasses: @fendi Floral Headband(Tiffany’s and mine): Handmade in UK and purchased on @vinted #birthdaygirl #motherdaughterdayout #erstwilder #erstwilderxroyalbotanicgardensvictoria #melbournedayout by @lisavain123

Never felt more like it 👠❤️ Meet Paige Red Lace Dress* new to @littlepartydress This dress me do a double take, a twirl and immediately check my diary for a reason to wear it again… Such an elegant, classically refined dress, but with just enough romance to make you feel a little bit main character. I love the intricate red lace ❤️over a lined body, soft round neckline, sweet scalloped sleeves, and a zip up back that keeps it all sleek. The fit? The cutest Babydoll, generous style.
