40 days, and somehow still not enough. Calabria, you were everything. The people, the food, the chaos, the beauty, the heat, the nights, the sea, and that particular feeling of forgetting what day it is.

The ocean, crystal clear and impossibly emerald , if this summer had a colour, that would be it. Somewhere along the way, Calabria has become my second home.

A little love letter to Southern Italy. From Salerno to Pompei, Maratea, Tortora, Praia a Mare, Tropea and Reggio Calabria, slow days by the sea, long lunches, lobster pasta, sunsets and roads that always seem to lead somewhere beautiful. I never want this summer to end. by @lisawester

DRÖMRESA | Lisa Wester är vd:n som hittat sitt semesterparadis på italienska Ischia. Hennes beskrivning av livet på ön utanför Neapel får oss att drömma om citrondesserter, klirrigt vitt vin och det där filmiska ljuset som gör allt så vackert.
LISA: Det ligger något nostalgiskt över Ischia: som Amalfikusten såg ut för 40 år sedan. Vattnet är kristallklart, stränderna lugna och det är fortfarande italienska som hörs omkring dig, snarare än turist-engelska. Ischia har länge levt lite i skuggan av Capri, och kanske är det därför ön känns så genuin. Capri är den glamorösa systern, medan Ischia har mer substans. Här möts några av Italiens mest ikoniska hotell med helt vanligt syditalienskt vardagsliv: tvätt som hänger mellan husen, religiösa processioner och det konstanta tutandet av vespor längs smala gator. En dramatisk vulkanö, full av klippor och små byar som klättrar längs bergssidorna, där ljuset är filmiskt och doften av salt hav blandas med citronträd och varm sten. Men det jag älskar mest är rytmen, det enkla okomplicerade sättet att umgås, spontaniteten samt det äkta Italien.

I’m so happy to share my personal guide to Ischia in the new issue of @damernasvarld 🇮🇹

Four pages on one of my favourite places in Italy, from my favourite beach clubs and hidden local gems to the incredible food of Campania, where to find the best spaghetti alle vongole, sunset aperitivos and a slower, more authentic side of the Italian summer.

Thank you @editorjonnabergh and @damernasvarld for letting me share my version of Ischia.

It feels extra special since Jonna and I share one very important thing: a love for Italian men who know their way around a kitchen. Biagio has taught me what southern Italian food should taste like, so my standards are now dangerously high.

Some evenings stay with you. Last week, Rörstrand celebrated 300 years of Swedish craftsmanship, design and cultural heritage at Stockholm City Hall.

From the installations in Stockholm City Hall’s Blue Hall celebrating three centuries of design history, to Adolf Fredriks kyrkokör singing Nu grönskar det, dinner beneath the golden mosaics of the Golden Hall, Emilia de Poret guiding the evening, Cherrie’s beautiful interpretation of Den blomstertid nu kommer, and Rörstrands Creative Director Annika Tickle’s moving speech about carrying Rörstrand’s legacy into the future.

Surrounded by birch trees, summer flowers and over 220 guests from across design, culture and media, it was a celebration of one of Sweden’s most iconic brands.

An enormous thank you to Rörstrand for trusting us at Grand Relations to curate and produce this very special evening. Proud, grateful and honoured to have been part of a piece of Swedish design history.

Milan Design Week 2026. The city turns into a stage and design is everywhere, not just in the exhibitions and events, but on every street, at every table, in how people dress, move, meet.

What stays with me most isn’t just what was shown, but the conversations around it. The ideas, the energy, the ambition.

Some of the best work this year sat right between concept and execution. Strong ideas, beautifully realised.

There’s a difference between showing something and saying something. The strongest did both.

Opening dinner for Stockholm Design Days at NK hosted by Kadi Harjak and NK Inredning. The week began in Ljusgården at Nordiska Kompaniet with champagne and the presentation of Stay Curious, followed by dinner at Bobergs Matsal. An evening gathering international press, designers and key voices from the Swedish design scene.

Featuring works by Nick Ross, Lisa Hilland, Pia Wallén, Niklas Runesson, Malin Pierre, Gustav Winsth, Mimmi Blomqvist, Cappelen Dimyr, SEKT, and emerging designers from Ung Svensk Form.
