Die Bergwoche 2026 ist leider schon wieder vorüber. Heuer durften wir mit insgesamt 26 Kids zwischen 4 und 15 Jahren wieder eine Woche auf der Wangenitzsee Hütte in der Schobergruppe verbringen. Danke an das gesamte Betreuer Team und an die ÖAV Sektion Lienz für die Unterstützung! Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Jahr.

I have been pretty lazy with postings lately. At the moment it doesn’t seem so easy to me to balance my life as a mountain guide, climber, mom, caregiver to my parents (together with my Brothers) and free spirit.

The last thing I think about is posting anything :) But: today, here’s a post again for many of you I try to stay in touch with on social media ;)

I want to share the beauti of my home mountains with you... :) Hi to all out there I haven`t seen or talked to lately...

Skitourenwoche Matrei i. O.

Mit Stammgästen unterwegs zu sein ist immer wieder ein besonderes Privileg. Wir haben schon viele gemeinsame Touren gemacht und es ist immer wieder schön und lustig.

Danke an Katharina und ihr Team vom Hotel Hinteregger, die wieder für eine perfekte Bewirtung und ein gemütliches Ambiete vor und nach den Touren gesorgt haben. Ab jetzt ist es aber Zeit auf Hochtouren zu gehen weil die Täler werden auch in Osttirol langsam aper.

This winter is a special one. If you are currently skiing in the backcountry you need a lot of experience and judgment when it comes to avalanches, as well as a good network and local knowledge. These are all things that local state-certified mountain and ski guides have. Please consider that!

Please remain cautious and consider hiring a guide to accompany you in the terrain

Eisfallkletterkurs der österr. Berg,- und Skiführerausbildung. Der Kurs fand letzte Woche bei besten Bedingungen in Matrei i. O. statt.

Vor allem in diesem schneearmen Winter wird wieder klar, wie wichtig das Thema Eisklettern in unserem Beruf ist.

Alle 32 TeilnehmerInnen haben den Kurs unfallfrei absolviert und gezeigt, dass die nächste Generation fit fürs Eisklettern mit Gästen ist.

Vielen Dank an Katharina und ihr Team vom Hotel Hinteregger für die tolle Bewirtung. Vielen Dank auch an das Team vom Eispark Osttirol für die top Anlage. Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Jahr 🔥

Believe it or not- About a Week ago I Met Santa Claus in the town of 🇨🇦 Canmore, AB. Sure enough he took me out for some nice Adventures just around town. Now that I finally got to know him I have to say that he is the Most Gentle Person I ever met 🙏. AND I am so greatful to have spent time with him 🎅🏻

I am also very thankful to my Family that I could come here and Climb Canadian ice and Rock again. And I am of course thankful to my soulmate Ramona who forced me to come Back here and hook up with so many Great souls such as Lilla, Marc, Ella, Kimbi, Ken, Luka, Henna, Heather, Wex, Sage and many more.

Even though Gery is Not around anymore we still had so much fun about him every Single day. For ex: ‚Do you Like Climbing?? Sure!!! So Why Aren’t you any good at it 😂?‘

Thank you so much Lilla & Frank for the Great days out, Safe travelles Santa 😜 and hope to be back soon ❤️🇨🇦❤️
