This past weekend I visited the first house we moved into when we arrived to Oklahoma. Not gonna lie, it was a bit emotional. Oh those sweet beginnings, that are now precious memories. I immediately thought of the Lis who stepped through these doors with no clue of what’s to come. It was rough to be in a new neighborhood, new city, new state, not to mention a new church. The feeling of loneliness was ever so strong.
It wasn’t long after that God surrounded our little family with a community that demonstrated God‘s hand orchestrating our every step to this new state we now call home. Grateful tears is what I have today.
Til this day God‘s been so good!

Today I pray, for those who are on a journey feeling alone, reminding you, He holds your future, and what’s to come is way greater than what you could imagine. by @lismarinlife

16 years ago in July we walked into LC for the first time and UP the movie was part of the ATM message.
This scene wreaked me.
2 years prior to that July Sam and I found ourselves in that similar scenario. As I sat in that room with tears running down my face, I felt God’s embrace, acknowledgment, and His peace.
May you be reminded “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning".
It’s pretty surreal the view Sam and I now have to experience this message 16 years later.
