Mt. Pulag via Tawangan-Ambangeg. Cried a little before the hike in anticipation of it, and then cried a little again after waking up this morning, looking back at how beautifully it ended.

The first two clips are the end of Ambangeg and the jump off for Tawangan. Everything else is in chronological order: up Tawangan on day one, then summit and down Ambangeg on day two.

Deep water solo at Caramoan two weekends ago 😸

Was late to confirm for this trip because I did not think I was a strong enough climber for it. While one thing about nature is that it is grand, scary, and inconquerable, another is that it is beautiful, so worth it to see and be in, and also so generous/ kind. :'( :')

If you could call a place welcoming, I would say Caramoan was 😭 At the onset of our rainy season, we enjoyed a long weekend of clear skies. Our group of twenty+ was full of DWS newbies and we were met with friendly holds to climb and deep, clear, calm water to fall into.

The cove we stayed at only had electricity at night and the early AM, so we spent our days outside. Climbing (DWS and sport), snorkeling (with like three shared goggles or so HAHAHA), floating, baby spelunking, and island hopping. Endless coral and so many fishes right there, incredibly just along the shore. And of course, the classic stargazing and looking at birds and things we don't know the names of. 😎

Been outdoors a few many times the past few years and there are really some moments and places that make me feel like we are meant to be here. Like space between trees, a hole in rock. Like, this for me to pass through, this is for me to sit on, this is for me to nap in, this is for me to hold.

There is no worthiness of nature. The outdoors is always there, with something for each of us wherever/however we are, and we visit as we can.

Of course, THANK YOU x100 to the Caramoan climbing community, Kuya Mackie, and the Albay Rock Climbing Community for this trip. Sa imbita at hatid hanggang starting hold. At sa bawat salo. (Deep water salo 😭)

Endlessly thankful to our PH climbing community - the PH Bolting Fund and every climbing community. And of course the free range friends made along the way. 😭❤️ Picked up this hobby three years ago and met so many people that I now share so many great memories with, doing things I never even fathomed in places I probably wouldnt have ever reached.

Lily loved me like no one else can. No one loves me as much as she did.

Lost Lily a week ago after a difficult time with cancer :'( Thankfully her final moments were beside me in bed and in my arms :'(

I got Lily as a puppy when I was in 3rd year college and I was always her mom. A few months after getting her I left for a semester in Poland and Lily was so excited when I finally came home that she was peeing while running to me.

She never left my side and was always protective of me. Though at the same time, she was often scared or nervous and wanted to be protected by me too.

I always dreamt that I would have her longer and I know she would have wanted forever with me.

So thankful I ever had a dog like her. So lucky to be loved so much. I don't dream of a replication of this and I'll always be sad not to have her anymore. :'( by @lissagram

Pictures from one day of our week-long Taipei trip last year (and well actually this day was outside Taipei)

Had Sunset Rollercoaster on today and it reminded me of Taiwan. Not sure if biased because Sunset Rollercoaster is actually Taiwanese haha.

Happy I have these photos to remember the trip by :D

Me, my zoom lens, and SF 🫶🏼

This was one of my favorite trips ever, even if it was one of the most awkward to explain to people. A little odd to go to the States alone for only 9 days in the middle of the year. But I missed my friends there, who are very special to me, and I wanted to take advantage of the 2 holidays.

Sometimes I feel like I do too many things. But this trip was restful. It feels perfect when I think back to it. My days were packed with things I love, and every night was a sleepover with my friends.

The Palabyabs took me around to Santa Cruz, to see the bridge and to do nice things like go to the farmers' market. Alvaro, my hobby twin, and I went climbing, hiking and camping. And bar hopping and raccoon summoning. Had as many interesting coffees as I could and ate in as many nice places as I could. No bad days for 9 days. Ah, and cool weather.

Our Caliraya weekend :) I dont remember if it was two days or three. But it was a lot of good memz! 😁

Swimming around, kayaking around, lying around, sitting around. Bathrooms with no doors- just trust, communication and vulnerability, full prod eating and cooking, and everyone sleeping next to someone. Or alone on the floor. hahaha jk 0/2

"come as friends, leave as lovers" or however the saying goes
