16yo Daniel is really freaking out! My photos are featured in @premierguitar

A few years back, I randomly reached out to @kelly_doyle_music to do a “Guitar Magazine” style shoot on 35mm film. Just for fun & to see if we could capture a few shots that felt like what we both grew up seeing in guitar mags. Fast forward two records later & we are still shooting together. This time we ACTUALLY made it into @premierguitar magazine. I’m a little floored, but incredibly proud of what KD has accomplished. Thank you so much for taking me along on the journey. Here’s to many more projects together!

For the photo nerds:
Camera: Nikon F3 ❤️My favorite
Lenses: Nikon 16mm 3.5 Fisheye from the 70s & Nikon 35-70mm 3.5 both manual focus
Film: Kodak Ultramax boi 🔥
Processing: @reelquickfilmlab

Much love to @strollingbonesrecords for believing in me.

I’ll put a link to the full article in my bio / links thing ❤️ taken in Montrose, Houston by @listenyoungman

My Dad went on to the great beyond yesterday. He was brilliant, steadfast, patient, and endlessly funny. He taught me what it means to be a good human and a father, how to laugh through the hard parts, and—most importantly—how to always agree with Mom. It doesn’t feel real yet, and I’m going to miss him something fierce. Aloha Dad 🌺 taken in Crosby, Texas by @listenyoungman

One of the greatest honors of my photography career was photographing Dolly at @newportfolkfest in 2019. One of the most important artists of her generation. We are less without you, but whole because of you. Thank you @dollyparton 🦋 Rest well. taken in Newport Folk Festival by @listenyoungman

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗗!

“Thieves” by @kelly_doyle_music on @strollingbonesrecords available wherever cool records are sold.

I’m beyond proud to have been asked to work with Kelly on this project. Seeing this on the endcap of @cactus_music is really mind blowing for a kid that grew up at Cactus. So thank you 🙏🏽

Shot with my Nikon F3 35mm film camera over the course of several weeks. We shot tons of photos, but what felt right was a return to a long-gone music venue near downtown Houston. Time is a thief, but music is forever. Kelly even stole a few of my words for the hype sticker.

Tonight (Aug 14th 2026) we celebrate this record release at Ovations at 2536 Times Blvd in Rice Village. Another one of Houston’s forgotten music venues that is like a step by in time to the 80s. It’s gonna be fun & only $10. A no brainer. See ya soon ✌️🐊 taken in Cactus Music by @listenyoungman

If I could choose ANY job (other than a monster truck driver) it would be co-owning a record store with @hashrash_ I think we would shake things up in a big way. Maybe one day soon!

Thank ya for hosting us @punkrockgaragesale & @bad.astronaut

🐊𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 🐊

The past two years of being a completely mobile record shop have been great! I don’t think I’ll ever give up on dragging my records around from place to place. It’s a thing that makes me really happy. If you looked at my DNA, you’d see a double helix of folding tables. I’m a traveler & a peddler.

All that being said, it feels like the right time to take the next step! My friends at @creo.htx have graciously given me my own little corner of their gorgeous creative wellness shop to set up a permanent branch of Good Junk Vintage Records!

I’m incredibly excited to share that I will be permanently set up at Creo in the Houston Heights beginning 7/25! They are even throwing me a welcoming party 🎉

I hope you’ll all put this on your calendar & come check it out! I’ll be spinning records PLUS @littlelotuscoffee & @thebakesmotel will provide matcha & cookies 🍪 by @listenyoungman
