if you love me, put me in K Í L È Ń T À R 🧡 @kilentar Hand-beaded silk chiffon starfish & scales, Yoruba warmth, sunset & earth colourways, traditional textiles and techniques, fresh takes on classic nature motifs, sculpted, modern silhouettes & immaculate tailoring; delicately woven raffia mesh skirt panels; and the brain of @michelleta_ behind it all – every Kílèńtár piece is literally wearable art. Designed from her Nigerian heritage and brought to life by a team of incredible West African artisans who still cut, dye and stitch each panel by hand, slow-fashion style. 🌍 The cuts are unreal. They drape perfectly on soft bellies, big hips & bums, straight frames, curves-on-curves… every body looks like it was the fit model. 🤌🏼 Tried these beauties on with the angels at @stylerotate and honestly felt like a goddess. Eternally obsessed with you, Kílèńtàr, & the whole team 🧡✨ Forever solidified as my favourite luxury designer. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - P.S Craft Appreciation Notes 🪡 (cuz I’m a nerd): • Heavy hand-beading sitting perfectly on light silk chiffon is actual WITCHCRAFT. • Those full-weight cloth panels + grass fringes suspended on a thin, lacy raffia mesh with zero warping??? That’s freaking engineering. • Every starfish + scale matching across seams and sitting flat at the zip??? Pattern cutting genius. • The way the bias-cut silk skims instead of clings 🤌🏼 • Inside finishes are squeaky clean • The fit is so exact it feels custom. Darts and seams sculpting in real time. • And the RANGE?? Hand-beaded silk chiffon slip dresses → funky sequinned “mermaid scale” shirts → stripe midi dresses with sculpted bodices & puffed skirts → braided wool fringe minis → pleated corset tops with cloud sleeves → elegant high-waist corset trousers → modern cargos + corset tops with a traditional cloth patchwork twist → woven, chic, modern boxy crops ???? One brand, an entire dynamic wardrobe. All somehow cohesive, same unmistakable brand DNA. Just. Wow. taken in Cape Town, South Africa by @litchikayy
