12 Monkeys (2015-2018) is a sci-fi time-travel series about a man from a post-apocalyptic future who travels back in time to stop a deadly plague and prevent humanity’s extinction. As he and a scientist uncover the mystery behind the plague, they become caught in a much bigger conspiracy involving time, fate, and the mysterious Army of the 12 Monkeys.
As they travel through different points in history, they discover that changing the past is far more complicated than they imagined. Every choice creates new consequences, and the line between what is meant to happen and what can be changed becomes increasingly blurred.
Along the way, Cole and Cassie face dangerous enemies, unexpected alliances, and a battle against forces that seem to exist beyond their understanding.
Their mission slowly becomes about more than just saving the world.
With time itself becoming their greatest enemy, they must find a way to break the cycle before the future they are trying to prevent becomes inevitable.

Jamie Campbell Bower is an acclaimed English actor, musician, and model who has established himself as a staple in major pop-culture fantasy franchises. Known for his intense preparation and chameleonic roles, his career spans dark musical films, massive teen franchises, and blockbusters.
The foundational concept of Stranger Things blends 1980s pop-culture nostalgia, Steven Spielberg-style sci-fi wonder, and Stephen King-inspired cosmic horror. However, the show’s conceptual framework evolved dramatically over its run:
Bower’s character acts as the conceptual linchpin for the entire series. Through his performance, the show bridged its sci-fi elements with deeply personal trauma.
He portrayed three distinct phases of the same consciousness: Henry Creel (the misunderstood child who discovered the dark realm), 001 / Peter Ballard (the orderly who manipulated Eleven), and Vecna (the ultimate executioner of the Upside Down). His character effectively shifted the narrative concept from a story about kids fighting random monsters to an epic, tragic battle against a homegrown villain.
