I tried to write something Rust coded, meant to sound resistant and defiant and I think I succeeded 😌 The towers glare with hollow light, Commanding shadows, staging fright. They draw their lines, they mark the ground, But still my voice won’t be shut down. The engines groan, the sirens wail, A broken code in their detail. They preach of order, cold, confined, But chaos blooms inside my mind. I hear the cracks beneath their crown, The iron starts to weigh them down. No silence deep, no chain too strong, Can drown a heart that beats in song. Their laws are paper, soaked in rain, Their pride is built on glass and pain. I tear through wires, I bend their frame, And blaze a path they cannot claim. The sky ignites with fractured fire, Each spark a vow, each flame desire. The night becomes a battlefield, Where truth is forged and fear must yield. So let them clutch at throne and creed, I’ll feed the ground with every seed.
