✨ Books I Would Commit Mild Crimes to Read Again for the First Time ✨

Listen… there are a lot of books I love, but these? These absolutely changed my brain chemistry. These are the books that have stayed with me in a little pocket of my brain and they do not leave. They live in that pocket rent free.

The Seven Year Slip is one that definitely snuck up on me. I went in thinking it was just another popular romance novel that I was going to like, but it completely changed romance for me. It was so unique, magical, and different. I love it so much! 😭

Red, White & Royal Blue always has me giggling, kicking my feet, and grinning at my book like an absolute fool. The hold this book has on me needs to be studied. And the movie does the exact same thing to me! Fun fact that I know at least one of you will judge me for, but Taylor Zakhar Perez is my dream Rhys. I truly think he would absolutely slay the role and he is definitely purely the closest thing to how I personally imagine him!

Lady Midnight reminds me why I fell in love with Cassandra Clare’s books in the first place. The world, the characters, the emotions… inject it directly into my veins. I never want to let go of the Shadowhunters world…like ever 😭😭

We Who Will Die had me STRESSED, but like in a good way 😂 I still think about the relationship dynamics in that book TO THIS DAY and it’s been quite a few months since that read. Literally same note, different font for Half City.

And don’t even get me started on A Court of Thorns and Roses... I don’t think I even have to explain this one!

There’s just something magical about discovering a story for the first time. Meeting characters before they become my favorites. Falling in love with a world before you know how much it’s about to emotionally destroy you and how much that world will mean to you by book 9752063927.

What’s ONE book you’d erase from your memory just so you could experience it again for the first time? 🫶🫶👀✨💖

✨ Let me take a shelfie ✨

I really, really just wanted to share my reorganized bookshelves because I worked so hard on them, and I’m honestly so proud of how they turned out. 🥹 I couldn’t keep them to myself any longer, so here they are in all their colorful, chaotic glory. 🌈 I can’t believe it took me days to finish it, but here we are 😅

Okay but LOOK AT HER!! I finally got the Twilight Deluxe Edition, and I genuinely think it’s one of the prettiest books I own. The florals with the pink & green, and the edges that shift between Edward & Bella…she’s absolutely stunning! 🤩✨

She fits perfectly on my Twilight shelf right next to my Lego Cullen House & my bedazzled Twilight book. I am so obsessed with this shelf 😍

✨ Dawn of the Cursed Queen by Amber V. Nicole ✨

I don’t think it’s any secret how much I freaking ADORE this series! The worldbuilding is absolutely incredible, the characters have so much depth and dimension, and the plot grabs you by the neck and doesn’t ever lets go.

But this book specifically??? Y’ALLLLLL… hold my Doccy Peppy. This book fleshes out these characters so much, and ohhhh my god, I truly adore them. I would quite literally die for Dianna and Samkiel. Their relationship, their growth, their pain… It truly is one I hold dear and near to my heart. This entire book is an emotional rollercoaster in the best and most devastating way. One minute you’re feeling all giddy and cozy, and the next Amber is personally reaching into your chest and ripping your heart out and you are bawling into your sweatshirt confused. Like ma’am??? I was having a nice time??! 😭

AND THE ENDING?!?!?! I genuinely did not expect it, and honestly? I love that for us.

The Deluxe Limited Edition of Dawn of the Cursed Queen by Amber V. Nicole is out now, and my goodnessssss, is she PRETTY. 🥹💚 She is currently sitting on my shelf looking absolutely ✨stunning✨ like the cursed queen that she is.

✨ Current Read: The Ballad of Falling Dragons by Sarah A. Parker ✨

I finished my ACOTAR reread yesterday!! 🥹✨ It was SO much fun revisiting a series that I adore this much and getting completely lost in Prythian all over again. There’s just something about returning to a world you love that feels like coming home. 🫶 I truly love the worldbuilding, all of the little easter eggs and connections you really hone in on when you reread, and obviously THE CHARACTERS. I love that every single one of them carries their own pain, flaws, and trauma, but we also get to watch them grow, heal, love, and find where they belong. I already loved this series, but every time I reread it, I’m reminded exactly why it has such a special place in my heart. 💖🥰

And nowwww we’re moving on to The Ballad of Falling Dragons!! 🐉🌙

I have been patiently (okay, IMPATIENTLY 😂) waiting for my FairyLoot edition to arrive before starting this one, and SHE IS FINALLY HERE!! When the Moon Hatched was my #1 read of 2025, so saying I’m excited to jump back into this world and continue Raeve and Kaan’s story is a massive understatement. I am SO ready to see where this story takes me, while also being slightly terrified of what Sarah A. Parker is about to put me through. 😂😅😭🥹

Also… CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW FREAKING GORGEOUS THESE BOOKS LOOK TOGETHER?! 😍😍 The way the light catches all of that foil lettering and the colors and the DETAILS?!! I’m obsessed. Basically bookshelf jewelry and I am LIVING for it!

✨ Reflection & Shift ✨

I’ve been taking some time to reflect on my page and what I truly want it to be. Because while, yes, I LOVE book photography, reading, and writing reviews… I love so many other things too, and I think I’m finally ready to start sharing those pieces of myself here. 💖 Bookish content isn’t going anywhere, but books aren’t the only part of me. There are so many little pieces of Tabby that I’ve tucked away over the years, and lately I’ve realized how much I miss them.

I used to journal religiously. Trips, books, memories, random moments… literally everything! This spread is from 2021, and looking at it reminded me how much joy I used to get from sitting down and creating something just because I wanted to. Somewhere along the way, I lost that side of myself. Maybe I started putting too much of myself into work. Maybe I’m still figuring out the balance between being a mommy, having a career, and making time for me. But I miss doing things simply because they make me happy. So I’m going to find her again. 🫶

I want to journal, paint, craft, and make things just because I can. Even thinking about starting some of these hobbies again weirdly gives me anxiety, but I don’t want that feeling to keep stopping me. And that means this little page is going to shift with me. ✨ You’ll still get books, reviews, fictional crushes, pretty editions, and bookish chaos, but you’ll also see journaling, crafts, Disney, random pieces of my life… and maybe even some selfies. 😅 I HATE taking pictures of myself, so maybe that’s exactly why I should do it more.

I don’t want to let my depression and ADHD keep me from creating or doing the things that make me happy. I am so much more than my mental health, and I want to start finding those missing pieces of myself again. Maybe this page doesn’t need to fit perfectly into one little niche.

Maybe the niche is just… me. 🥹💖

💖 I’M BACKKKKK FROM MY WORK TRIP! 💖

And obviously I came home with books! 🥰 This stack is a mix of book mail that was waiting for me when I got home & three books I brought back from my trip!! I had SUCH a memorable time, but working 9 days in a row with THREE of those being 16 hour days is absolutely not for the faint of heart. 😅 I am TIRED. But getting to experience D23 was genuinely such a dream come true, and I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it. 🥹💖✨

Now for the important question…Did I actually finish rereading the first four ACOTAR books like I said I was going to?

Absolutely not. 😂😂

I severely overestimated how much reading I would be doing after those work days LOL. BUT I did make it through the first two, and I’m currently making my way through ACOWAR! 🫶

I got a black A5 Magnet Planner with a pink fluffy Shearling Planner Cover. I already have approximately 500 ideas floating around in my head on layouts, but also Pinterest is my bff with journal/planner spreads 😂

Thank you SO much for all of the gifted books!! 🥹🫶 I cannot wait to dive into these and, of course, make some ridiculously cute journal spreads about them. 💖

The most heartbreaking news, and I genuinely don’t even know how to process this. 💔 Dolly Parton was one of the most inspiring, talented, and genuinely good people this world has ever known.

Of course, she gave us decades of incredible music, stories, movies, and so much joy, but one of the things I will always admire most about her is what she did for children and literacy. Dolly started the Imagination Library in 1995, inspired by her father, who never had the opportunity to learn to read or write. What began as a program for children in her home county in Tennessee grew into something so amazing and extraordinary. Today, the Imagination Library sends more than 3 million books every single month to children around the world.

As someone who loves books so deeply, I don’t think I can put into words how incredible that legacy is. There are millions of children who grew up with books in their homes because Dolly believed every child deserved the opportunity to fall in love with reading. Millions of little imaginations that she helped nurture. Millions of stories placed into tiny hands because she chose to use her success to give something back. 😭 There are not enough people in this world like her. Dolly once said that seeds of children’s dreams are often found in books, and I think there is something so beautiful and slightly comforting knowing that her work will continue planting those seeds long after she’s gone.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🫶 Thank you for everything you have given this world. You will be so missed. by @literallytabz

✨ Work Trip Time! ✨

Alright y’all! I will be out of town on a work trip until 8/19, so I may not post as much during that time(I will be working everyday until I go back home.) 🌻 Sunflower Flatlay 🌻

August is officially here, which means it’s time to show some love for sunflower season🌻 Sunflowers truly just make me so happy. They’re bright, cozy, and always remind me that fall is right around the corner!

I had way too much fun putting together this little golden stack full of some of my favorite books. We have a sunflower field about 30 minutes away from us that we love to go to when they start their Fall Festival to pick flowers and eat Apple cider donuts. I had some maternity photos taken there when I was pregnant with my girl 🥰🥹

✨ ACOTAR Re-read ✨

This one is finally starting her ACOTAR reread! 🥹✨I am SO excited because it’s been a hot minute since I’ve visited Prythian. It’s kind of like coming home 💜 I’ve been putting this reread off for way too long, but I’m about to head out on a 1.5 week work trip, and it feels like the absolute perfect time to fall back into this world. I already know I’m about to become completely insufferable while rereading these books, and honestly… I have No Ragrets(we’re the millers joke). 😂
