PHEW! Finally, I am done with book 6 of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. This one took me ages to get through, it also might be the instalment I least got hooked into. Still super solid, this remains one of my favorite series, but I am very happy to be done with this one!!

One of my new all time favorite books! I read an advanced copy this past spring and was so excited to get my hands on my own copy. I just listened to the audiobook as well and remained as enchanted by this world and the characters! This is high up with Legends and Lattes in my top cozy fantasy reads that I will read over and over again!

October Hopefuls!

Why do I keep making hopeful lists when I ever rarely stick to them ? 😂 I guess I enjoy looking through my collection and getting excited over some titles all over again! I’m going to be entering my witchy season and look forward to reading a lot of these, hopefully I can actually get to most of these this time!

Are you more horror focused in October? Or Cozy autumn lovely vibes? Or bring on the witches?

September Wrap Up!

September came and went, it was a busy time, filled with love and sickness 😅 I didn’t get much reading in this month but that’s mainly because mid way through September I got the itch to continue with the Dungeon Crawler Carl series and book 6 is over 800 pages long so it’s taking me a hot minute to get through it.

How did your September month go?

I’ve been seeing this one floating around and thought I would see what the fuss was all about. I love books like these, a story told via letters. I love a character who is flawed and complex and how quickly we get attached to this world.

Highly recommend and throughly enjoyed this one

Carley Fortune books always hit in the summer. Perfect books to read on the dock at the lake. I feel like I say this every time but this one is my favorite of this author’s and I think it will truly be hard to beat the love I have for Frankie and George. Also, I need to visit Tofino. Immediately, if not sooner.

It’s going to be a witchy October!

SO happy to finally have a physical copy of Twig’s Traveling Tomes which was one of my favorite reads this year! And very much looking forward to the new Alice Hoffman!

September Hopefuls!

The beginning of the ‘Ber months! September is such a great mingling of Summer and the beginning of Autumn. I can still squeeze in a few late summer reads and then get right in with the cozy vibes I so desperately crave.

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming new season?

August Wrap Up!

Even though I might be ready for Autumn to hit, can’t deny that my summer reads have been an absolute delight. Also apologies I messed up the order read in my photo, I had to retake them and that always annoys me especially when I had already put the books away. Also am missing a lot of my reads since they were either borrowed or gifts for others!

What were your favorite reads of the summer?

Another Summer romance book complete! I had a lot of fun with this one! The premise was really fun and it was silly and absurd but also deep and filled with great communication! Will be reading more from this author

Decided to read one of my mom’s books from “August 12th” before giving her back her purchases and I had a really fun time with it. I loved the setting and thought it was light and funny with a good mystery woven in.

Another Bargain Book Coven book completed, before the meeting! I think my curse from the beginning of the year is finally broken!

This was a really solid read , I loved getting an origin story for Medusa and the discussions in here are super important.
