Light wind days are all about technique, patience, and having the right gear. We had a great lesson with Ed @ebaas in around 10–12 knots, and he did an amazing job!

The spot where he usually rides is mostly light wind, so during the session he focused on learning new techniques, board control, and how to ride more efficiently in light conditions. Having the correct setup makes a huge difference, and he was loving his Reedin kite together with his 155 litewave board @litewavedave

Side-shore wind gave us the perfect conditions to keep practicing safely and build confidence on the water. One of the best parts of our OBX house is having a safe area for launching and landing right in front of the house, making every session easier, safer, and more enjoyable for everyone.

Progress like this is what kiting is all about learning, adapting, and enjoying every session 🤙

There’s no better way to end a sunset session than with a smile like this! ✨

At the end of the day, that’s all we want: smiles for everyone. Check out this incredible progress, in just his second lesson, he spent 1 hour mastering the trainer kite, followed by 2 hours with the real deal.

The result?
He got up on the board for those first 2 seconds! 🏄‍♂️💥 It’s just a moment, but it’s enough to feel that rush of adrenaline that keeps you coming back for more. This is where the journey begins!

Depending on your kite control, you might even get on the board during your first lesson.

Hugo @vzla_2610 had great kite control and was able to fly the kite and handle the bar confidently in his very first lesson with us. Every student is different, but our goal is always the same: help you have the best experience possible.

And yes… you might get a little addicted like we are.

Light wind is actually perfect for the first 2–3 hours of learning. Using a bigger kite and a larger board gives you more stability and control, making it easier to focus on the fundamentals.
