This past weekend, the Litigophers competed at the Ole Open hosted by @stolafmocktrial ! 🦁🫶🐿️

Team 1260 had an 8-0 record and were undefeated as tournament champions!🥇 Team 1261 followed close behind with a 7-1 record securing second place! 🥈 Team 1262 also had an impressive showing of a 4-4 record!

The following Litigophers awarded individually as attorneys representing Alekri et al. on the plaintiff: 🏆

• Reagan Koppelman - 18 ranks
• Carolina Freed (FIRST YEAR) - 17 ranks
• Wyatt Candella (FIRST YEAR) - 16 ranks
• Aadya Pandey - 16 ranks

Additionally, these Litigophers awarded individually as witnesses called by Alekri et al. on the plaintiff: 🏆

• Antoine Raynel - 18 ranks
• Maggie Sidla (FIRST YEAR) - 17 ranks

If you want to improve your public speaking, presentation skills, acting, knowledge of law, and or law school applications on a nationally accredited undergraduate mock trial program, the Litigophers is the place for you!

Not planning to attend law school? That’s fine too! The Litigophers are made of students pursuing majors from all over the University of Minnesota Twin Cities! From Sociology 👥 and Political Science 🏛️ to Animal Science 🦆 and Architecture 🏗️, we are confident you will find your place on our team!!!

This past April, these five Litigophers were elected via ranked-choice voting to succeed the former executive board. The results of the election are as follows:

After dedicating thousands of hours of their time and countless weekends to prosecuting, suing, and defending the people of Midlands, seven Litigophers have been honorably disbarred by the Midlands State Bar Association.

For the past four years, Rory Behm, Quincy Davis, Logan Juran, Hannah Koster, Shubhangi Mohan, Khoi (Bill) Phan, and Vera Zamborini have given the Litigophers more than words can describe. They have crafted the organization's culture, nurtured its members, and been the face of the Litigophers in hundreds of trials nationwide.

These seven exemplary attorneys and witnesses now set their sights on pursuing their professional careers, with many intending to be admitted to other state bar associations across the country in the future.

The American Mock Trial Association’s 2028 National Championship Tournament will be hosted by the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota!

Stay tuned for more information, and get ready to try another precedent-setting criminal case in the not-so-distant future!

Team 1368: Minnesota A serving up the 3-Ballot Special at Diane’s Diner during the 2026 @amtamocktrial National Championship Tournament!

After leaving the @drakemocktrial Regionals with a perfect 8-0 record and securing a bid to nationals at the @macmocktrial Opening Round Championship Tournament, the Litgophers packed their bags for Washington, D.C. to try the case of the State of Midlands v. Sammy Celeste and August Amber!

President and graduating senior Shubhangi Mohan left as one of only 27 All-American Attorneys nationwide, with 23 ranks on the defense!

Thank you to our generous donors for supporting our organization, to our dedicated coaching staff for teaching the Litigophers, to all the teams who scrimmaged or competed against the Litigophers, and to @aumocktrial @gwtrial and @amtamocktrial for hosting an amazing tournament!

P.S. Shubhangi definitely could’ve used a few cups of coffee from Diane’s Diner and a good night’s sleep at Maggy’s Motel 😴
